Scrap N' Stamp ~ Let's Play With Sunflowers

For my card examples today I used the Crafter's Companion (CC) "Striking Sunflower Die" and made two fun card!

For my first card I used the "Striking Sunflower Die" and some cool CC "Flower Forming Foam" and my heat tool and created 3D foam flowers.  I used some CP Crushed Violet, Lilac and Tiara inks to make the spotted background. A greeting was heat embossed in gold using the new CP "Fall Calls for Lattes" stamp set.  I inked up the blooms and foliage with CP's Tiara ink for the sunflower petals, Icing on the Cake for the flower centers and Sage ink for the leaves.

For my second card, I used the same beautiful "Striking Sunflowers Die" but die cut it using cardstock instead.  I used the "Moulding Ball Tools" to sculpt my cardstock and make it 3 dimensional.  I used Tiara, Sauna, Mandarin Spice ink to create the background then stamped with the ornate "Filigree Background" stamp set CP to create that.
