The parameters for episode #76 were as follows:

  • Element:  Summer Sport
  • Random: Weaving

For my card, I began with my "swimming" (summer sport) mermaid from the My Favorite Things stamp set, "Mermazing" and her vintage coloured sea-scape.

Wild Roses

Welcome to the Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge!  I'm the challenge host this week!

This week's challenge is to create a project featuring a DIGITAL image.  This digital image can be of anything your wish!

I chose to use one of the newer digital beauties from Three Room Studio today, the "Wild Rose" digital stamp set released in the last few weeks by Sandy.

I coloured up the image using Copic Markers and then I added some more detail using Polychoromos Pencils.

Here's a little close up of the larger rose in the image...

The beautiful thing about digital stamps is that you can size them up or down according to your needs and wants for your card or project.

Check out all of the Three Room Studio digital stamps, right HERE.  There are TONS to choose from!!

Please take a gander at some of our fellow designer creations for today's challenge...

Livin' la Vida Mocha

Happy Thursday everyone!

Today I created a card for August PenPal for StampNation.  A few years ago I started a monthly penpal swap.  If you sign up for the swap, you are given another participants mailing address and you create a card to send them using the monthly theme.

This month's theme was to create a card using the "A to Z in the Craft Room" series on StampNation.  There are 20+ themes or products to feature.

I chose to use "C - Colored Pencils" for my card.

For my card, I stamped images and a sentiment using the stamps from the August Club Canvo subscription, "Life Is Brew-tiful" stamp set.

I had a blast coloring up my masked card front using Polychromos Pencils.

I hope you have an amazing day!

Pawsome Stamps ~ Flying Bat Card

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I'm over on the Pawsome Stamps YouTube channel today sharing this adorable interactive card featuring the adorable "Monster Party" 4x6 stamp set.

The video includes the entire card making process along with the Copic coloring of all the images.

I used some deep gorgeous Distress Oxide inks to create the simple background for my monster party.

And of course, my favorite part is the moving bat element!  He pops out from behind his buddies and flies into the sky to greet you!

Here are all the Copic Markers I used for my group of ghoulish gang...

I hope you take a moment and check out my video!

Have a great rest of the week!

Have a BOO-tiful Day!

It's time for a contributing card to Craft Roulette!

The parameters for episode #75 are as follows:

  • Project:  Window Card
  • Colors: Red Background
  • Element:  Fruit
  • Random: "In the corner"

For my card, I decided I wanted to use the new Catherine Pooler Designs "Squad Ghouls" stamp and die. I knew the little pumpkin in the stamp set would meet the "fruit" parameter to start.

Then I grabbed the cool and elaborate "Adore Die" which is the big window die. Check! The window parameter is met!

For the red back ground, I grabbed my Gelli Plate and blended the Tiki Torch, Tutti Frutti and Samba inks to get the back ground.  So fun!  Check!  Red background parameter met!

And finally, I put the Copic Marker colored monster in the corner of my card!  VOILA!

You can still play along with episode #75.  You have 48 hours from the time the show ends to submit your card.  Watch the YouTube Video HERE and play along. To submit your card, click HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!

Club Canvo ~ More September Spreads

For August, the Club Canvo subscription is COFFEE themed! Delicious!

This subscription contains: "Life is Brew-tiful" 4x6 stamp set, the "September Mornings" 3x4 stamp set and the "Coffee Rings Stencil".  All three of items are perfect for card making too!  PLUS, later on this month, Catherine will release a coordinating die for the "Life is Brew-tiful" stamp set too!

For the first full week of September, I wanted a bright and fun color palette.  I kept my coloring really simple too - by using the Tombow Blender Pen, all the CP inks become "markers".

For the following week, I used last month's stencil "Week in the Sun".  Look at all those cute little coffee beans?!?!

For the final full week of the month, I used the fun new "Coffee Rings Stencil" and some warm summer colors of ink... super simple and easy to do!

For more information about the Club Canvo subscription, click HERE.

Order by August 30th to receive the next delivery!

Happy planning!

Club Canvo ~ Purple Habit Tracker

Happy Sunday!  I hope you're having a great weekend!

Today I'm sharing a few more pages in my Canvo bullet journal.

I am a purple lover!  It's my favorite color!  So I wanted to use just purples on my habit tracker this month.  I pulled out Serenade, Pixie Dust, Grape Crush, Flirty Fuchsia, and Pucker Up inks.

I stamped a variety of fun coffee images from the "Life Is Brew-tiful" stamp set at the bottom.

For my first weekly spread spread, I used the Weekly Eight Stencil and bright, happy color palette of Tiara, Tiki Torch, Tutti Frutti and Aquatini inks.

I kept this weekly spread very simple!

I hope you have a fabulous and creative weekend!

Three Room Studio ~ Bring on the People!

Welcome to the Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge! I'm your challenge host this week!

This week's challenge is to create a project featuring an image of a person or people.

Today I decided to feature one of my favourite winter stamp sets, "Skate Sleep Repeat". This stamp set not only features our beautiful figure skater but a larger wreath banner and all kinds of tiny winter branches and berries.  I chose to make a sort of wreath wrapping all around her.

If you are new to Three Room Studio and would like to participate in this week's challenge using one of our digital products, why not check out our FREE Digi, "You Matter To Me".  It would be perfect for this week's theme!

Let's Get Spooky!

Howdy everyone and Happy Wednesday!  Today I'm sharing a fun Halloween inspired card with you with some super cool Chibitronics products!

I first began my card by stamping and coloring all of the images from the new Pawsome Stamps "Monster Party" stamp set using Copic Markers. I also used a little pumpkin image from the "Hey Pumpkin" stamp set.  I also stamped each monster's head again on some vellum paper to mount behind their cut out eyes. I did trim their eye holes a little bit smaller before adhering the vellum to the back.

Then I die cut a silhouetted background from black cardstock and I also colored in a sky to set behind the spooky landscape. I also cut through both pieces of cardstock where each pair of eyes would be located on the card.

Next I took my card base and lined up my monsters and the pumpkin and stamped them down exactly where they were place on the card front panel. This helped out with perfect placement of our fun LED Lights from the Lights Sampler MegaPack. The purple/blue lines indicate the placement of the negative side of the circuit and the red lines indicate the positive side. The battery pack will be located under the mini pumpkin image.

So I created a little fold over battery housing for our 3V battery and then ran my positive and negative lines of Copper Tape. To ensure good contact with the battery, you need to wrap that Copper Tape over the top flat of the battery housing. I used a combination of red, orange and yellow LED lights from the new Lights Sampler MegaPack

Then I added a double layer of 1mm thick foam adhesive (to make a 2mm thick layer) to the entire back drop of the circuit. Since foam tape doesn't conduct electricity, you can apply it directly over your circuit! Look at those lights GLOW!

Here's the final card including the fun greeting banner...

And here it is all lit up!!!! It's SOOO much cooler in real life!

Boho Fall ~ Lil' Pumpkin

It's time to shop!  Today, the whole Boho Fall Collection hits the Catherine Pooler Designs Shop!

I thought I'd keep today's card plain and simple!  I started it off by stamping my pumpkin image from the "Front Porch" stamp set in a watercolor safe ink.  I watercolored the pumpkin using all CP inks.

Some simple masking and soft, subtle inking around the square's edges just adds those finishing touches.

I hope you have a blast checking out all the amazing products arriving in the shop today.  Happy shopping!
