Be Well, Deer!

It's late Tuesday night and I've just posted the brand new card sketch over at Splitcoaststampers for the week.

This week I chose to feature the sweet adorable patterned papers called "Little Fawn and Friends" by Nina Stajner.

Here is the fun sketch for week; SC812:

I hope you'll join us this week and share your card!

Happy craftin'!

Wild About You!

Howdy everyone!

I just couldn't help myself!  I had to purchase the adorable "Born to Be Wild" stamp set. Aren't they the sweetest little ones?

I also used the fun "Safari" 6x6 patterned papers to go on my card.

I hope this really simple card made you smile!

Pink, Purple & Plaid!

Happy Monday all!  I was experimenting with the gorgeous new "Polka Dot Cover Plate" today.  I looked at it and I thought... hmmm... those dots might just guide me to make a really cool pattern.  A PLAID pattern!

So using some low tack tape, I masked off each line and inked it up with either "It's a Girl" or "Sweet Sixteen" inks to create the criss cross effect.

To make it sparkle, I added some Diamond Stickles to the dots!

To make my cross panel, I used some of the sweet little leaves in the "4 Ever" stamp set and die cut a "Single Rose Die" and added it too!

Such a fun and easy card to create!  Hope you get to create soon too!

Together We Are Stronger

Good afternoon and happy Sunday!  For this week's challenge over at Three Room Studio, the Design Team have seen out to search the webs to find a card that they're going to CASE.

For me, I found this amazing card by Jess McAfee (@jess.mcafee) on Instagram seen HERE.

I chose to use the same stamp set, our FREE digital set called "You Matter to Me".  It's a beautiful stamp.

I chose to keep the same colour scheme and general design of her card for my own card.

For each lady's shirt I chose to decorate it with a fun mini stamp included in some of our other sets.  For the pink shirt I used the "steam for the coffee" from "I Heart Books".  For the teal stars, I used those from our "Believe in Fairies" set and for the purple shirt, I used the adorable little heart from the "Skate Sleep Repeat" stamp set.

I think it turned out fabulous!  What do you think?

See you again soon!

It's Just Around the Corner... August!!

Happy Saturday everyone!  It's almost August so that means that my bullet journal is almost ready to go for the month.

All of my bullet journal spreads use Catherine Pooler inks, stamps and stencils.

Included in every monthly Club Canvo collection are a monthly name stamp set (ie: "August"), a monthly themed stamp set and a wonderful stencil.

For August, the first three items listed below were included in the kit and are now in the CPD shop and ready to purchase!

Now on to my spreads...

I always start my month off with an introductory page.  This time I chose to make a wreath of all the delicious treats!

Next I create a full calendar spread.  I used the "Half Calendar stencil" to create the outlines.

A tracker page is in order for my water consumption, so used the adorable ice cream cone built with 7 layers just for habit tracking!!!  Brilliant right?!?!?

The first week of August only includes one day so I added a sleep tracker element with this page. I used the "Funky Alphabet" stamp set and a rainbow of colored inks!!

For the first full weekly spread for August I went with almost a delicate and fruit ink palette.  This spread uses the Club Canvo "Weekly Seven Stencil".

For the second full week of August, I just had to use the adorable ice cream cart and some bold colors...

I hope you've enjoyed some of these fun Club Canvo pages!  Thanks again for visiting!

Good Things Shaker

Who doesn't love a fun shaker card?!?

First I cut 5 strips of CP Premium White Cardstock and inked them up using Tiki Torch, Samba, Pixie Dust, Fiesta Blue and Grass Skirt inks.  I adhered them on an angle across the front panel.

Then I used the "Single Rose Die"  and I cut 3 of them out of the left side of my card panel.  I adhere a piece of acetate to the back of the panel and adhered the 3 rose outlines to the acetate.

I added foam to the back panel to create an area for my sequins.  After adding sequins, I adhered the back panel to the card and added a tiny strip of the black gingham from the "A Tisket, A Tasket" 6x6 patterned paper pack.

Then I added on the sentiment using Midnight ink from the "Be the Good Sentiments" stamp set.

This is the sketch I used for my card inspiration.  This is my sketch from Splicoaststampers... SC811.

I hope you'll hop over to the Catherine Pooler Designs shop as the One-Plus-One Collection goes live at 9:00am EST.  Happy shopping!

Rainbows, Roses and Polka Dots!

Happy Monday!  Today is the day that StampNation members get their early shopping link to the Catherine Pooler shop!  Hooray!  It's a fun perk of being a member!

I thought I would share a few more fun cards using some of the products in the One Plus One Collection.

This card is one of my favs and super easy to replicate!  For the rose, I die cut it out of black cardstock.  Then a took a scrap of Premium White cardstock and ink blended the Fiesta Blue, Tiara and Samba inks in a circular spot.  Note that I only used 3 inks... yup only three inks!  Color theory in play here everyone!  I even rainbow colored the "things" scripty sentiment!

Here's my second card for today.  This one is remnants of the card I shared yesterday (seen HERE) using the fun paper pack of "A Tisket, A Tasket".  Don't you just love the new "Polka Dot Cover Plate Die"???  It makes the perfect back drop for your card fronts!

Thanks for stopping by!  The new products arrive in the CPD shop for non-StampNation member on Wednesday!

Meet "This Calls for Cake"

Happy Sunday all!  The last bundle in the One Plus One Collection has been revealed!

You can check out Catherine's live video here.

I chose to mix and match a few things from a few different collections.  I just love the "Single Rose Die" and I decided to die cut it out of a few of the different patterned papers from the "A Tisket a Tasket" 6x6 papers.   Then I swapped out all the different patterned pieces for each other to get my vintage looking roses!  I loved how they came out!

All of the amazing wording belongs to the "Be the Good Sentiments" stamp set.  I even embossed some of the gorgeous scripty fonts!

If you are a StampNation member, YOU get to shop tomorrow at 9:00am ESTWoohoo!  I hope you have a great shopping trip!  For everyone else, the shop opens up on Wednesday morning!

Thanks for stopping by everyone!

I Love You Mom!

Happy Sunday!  Today I'm sharing a fun card using the latest sketch from Three Room Studio.

I chose to use the pretty little "Mom's Hibiscus" stamp set for my card today.  i coloured it very simply with Copic Markers and fussy cut it out to add to my card.  The sweet sentiment is also included in this stamp set.  This stamp collection also includes Mom spelled like this "Mum" too.

This is the sketch I designed for this month (#trssketch06).  It includes lost of space to stamp a large image plus lots of fun strips to play with!

I'd love to see you join in our challenge fun!  Come and visit the Three Room Studio's Fourth Room and share your creation with us!  Or use the #trssketch06 on social media!

Thanks for stopping by!  See you all soon!

This week, krafty girl Brigitte is your hostess and her challenge for you is: anything water!

I'm here to share another fun creation featuring the "Old Oak Tree Background" stamp set from the "Under the Oak" bundle.

I chose to get creative with our beautiful tree and flip it upside down on the top side of my card.  I decided on an Autumn scene so I chose some oranges, red and even some greens for my leaves.

The inks that I used include:

This fun stamp and die bundle will totally tickle your wildness vibe.  This set features the amazing large Oak tree at it core.  This beautiful image made of firm red rubber will be sure to be featured all on kinds of seasonal cards.

I chose to feature this beautiful grand tree in a snowy setting.  The tree is sporting a beautiful red holiday bow with some fun greenery too!  So I had include it on the adorable tire swing too!
