A Krafty Komeback... You're a Scream!

It's a very exciting day at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  Not only is it challenge day but it's also time for a... Krafty Komeback!!

 

In case you are new to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, we have been creating whimsical krafty stamp sets for over TEN YEARS! So we have lots of incredible designs that have long retired and once in a while we bring one back for you!

 

Today we are bringing back a stamp set that was originally released in 2013!! It's just in time for those spooky creations for Halloween! This set was only ever released in rubber and NOW you can get it in clear photopolymer!! It's called.....YOU'RE A SCREAM!

I couldn't choose which adorable image to feature on my card, so I used them all! For my card base, I used the "Ghoulish Ghosts Stencil" and the "Nautical Net Stencil" to create my back drop.  I used Yummy Yellow, Morning Marigold, Tempting Tangerine, Ruby Red, Whimsical Wisteria and Gorgeous Grape inks to stencil the whole thing plus Wicked Black to stamp all my images.

Healing Bouquet

 

Today is day 2 of the Fresh-Squeezed Scents Collection for Power Poppy.

Today we share another amazing spray of fruit and flowers... called "Healing Bouquet".

I chose to make a fun slimline card featuring two sprays put together.

I coloured everything in Copic Markers and then used my Polychromos Pencils to add depth and shading.  I loved colouring up this image!!

Aloe & Oranges

 

Happy Thursday everyone!  Over at Power Poppy, Marcella is releasing two new beautiful digital stamp sets!  This mini collection is called the "Fresh-Squeezed Scent Collection".

Today we are sharing the stunning new "Aloe & Oranges" digital stamp set! Isn't this display of fruit and plants cool?

I used Copic Markers to color in the base of the image and then I used Polychromos Pencils to add in some of the details and darken the "nooks and crannies" as they say!

Hey Pretty Pumpkin!

I always like taking a small step out of the creative box sometimes.  I love the idea of using non-traditional colors for objects... like using beautiful "Pink Champagne" and "Sangria" inks for my pumpkin and leaves.

 

**Sadly the label die pictured above is no longer available!  So sorry!**

Do you like to do the same?  What colors would use on your pumpkins?

Did you see how I used the cool "Narrow Stripe Cover Plate Die" here?  I cut 2 of them from our awesome Premium White Cardstock and then I flipped one die cut so the stripes ran the opposite way.  Doesn't it look like a piece of lattice fence?  Another way to "step out of the creative box" again!

Habit Trackers and Daily Journaling

Hi everyone!  There is something so fun about being about to create a journal that specifically is designed for you!  I love being able to share my fun spreads in my Canvo with you.

Today I'm first sharing one of my habit tracking pages featuring the September Club Canvo kit.

Don't you just love all those clouds and stars??  And a rainbow never hurts either!

The first week of September is a short one so I only needed 5 journaling areas.  The stamps and stencils seen here are ALL included in this Club Canvo!

 

For this 2 page spread, I used the sail from our adorable sailboat in a different way!  I used like a draped banner for each day's journaling spot.  Gotta think outside those lines sometimes!

 

I hope I've given you some inspiration to create in your own bullet journals.

Where's That Black Cat?

 Happy Sunday!  I hope you've had a great weekend so far.

Today I'm sharing a fun Halloween card again.  When you think of Halloween, don't you think of black cats?  I do!  Today I'm including a cat in my card...

I started my masking off my sky using Post-It Note tape.  Then I blended the Sage ink below the mask.

Then I masked off my ground and blended the sky with Sugared Lavender and Royal Treatment inks.  

 

Then I removed my mask and flicked some water across the whole panel.  I also used an old toothbrush to flick on some white acrylic paint.

 

I stamped out some pumpkins and greenery from the Hey Pumpkin stamp set.  Then I cut them out with their coordinating dies.  I used Shea Butter, Orange Peel, Mandarin Orange and Spruce inks for my images.

 

Then I stamped the kitty image using Midnight ink and colored him in using Copic Markers.  I also die cut a few pairs of glasses from the Pet Specs Dies.

 

I assembled my kitty peeking out from a cluster of fun pumpkins and added a sentiment from the One Liners Sentiment stamp set.

 

 And a fun card would do without some googley eyes and some glitter!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps August Release and a HOP!

 

Today we are celebrating all the wonderful new magical things in our AUGUST Release that are NOW AVAILABLE in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

For my card today, I chose to use the adorable "It's Turkey Day".  Can I tell you, I just LOVE that freakin' turkey!!!!  He just appears to have SO much personality!!!! Instead of Copic Markers, I chose to use Polychromos Pencils to colour in my images.  A change of mediums is always fun!

Owl-chemy!

 

It's our FINAL day of peeks and everything you've seen us share this week will be in the online shop this afternoon!

 

We are closing out the festivities with another very MAGICAL set from artist Sabrina van Vloten called... OWL-CHEMY!

 

 

We're so excited to share this fabulous set with you-hooo! So many gorgeous designs featuring our feathered friends, plus accessory stamps and fun sentiment sets!

 

For my card I chose to create with the fun owl and cauldron and branch images.  This card has a SECRET!!!  The owl actually flies up... yup...

 

 

As you pull the tag, the owl flies higher...

 

... and higher!
 

 

When you fold back the owl part of the card, it reveals the left panel featuring the "Ghoulish Ghosts Stencil".  I ink blended the entire back ground and the applied some Versamark ink over the stencil and heat set some glittery embossing powder on top.

 

 

 

Today is also Challenge Day and as always, during release week the theme is Anything Goes! So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item.....with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp! Use any sketch, design, colour scheme you want!

 

Everything will be released at our LIVE Online Release Party in the Krafty Friends Facebook group

this afternoon at 2pm EST!

Too Cute To Spook!

Welcome back! Did you SEE all the AMAZING new goodies we previewed yesterday?  Are you ready to add some magic to our fantastic fall release? That's good because we are BACK with Day TWO of our August Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we're sharing a sweet new stamp set by artist Sabrina van Vloten!  It's called....TOO CUTE TO SPOOK!

 

This adorable new set features our cute little mice Trick or Treating!! We've got a vampire, pirate, witch, fairy and of course a little ghost mouse! SQUEEEEK! And just look at the sentiments AND accessories!! This set is so packed full of images!

I took the little pirate, ghost and vampire mice and created a little Halloween scene.  I added the sweet little pumpkin stamp to the porch and lost of candy and candy corn images to the scene too!  To add a little punch of colour I used some Halloween Dots on the frame.
