Healing Bouquet

 

Today is day 2 of the Fresh-Squeezed Scents Collection for Power Poppy.

Today we share another amazing spray of fruit and flowers... called "Healing Bouquet".

I chose to make a fun slimline card featuring two sprays put together.

I coloured everything in Copic Markers and then used my Polychromos Pencils to add depth and shading.  I loved colouring up this image!!

Aloe & Oranges

 


Happy Thursday everyone!  Over at Power Poppy, Marcella is releasing two new beautiful digital stamp sets!  This mini collection is called the "Fresh-Squeezed Scent Collection".

Today we are sharing the stunning new "Aloe & Oranges" digital stamp set! Isn't this display of fruit and plants cool?

I used Copic Markers to color in the base of the image and then I used Polychromos Pencils to add in some of the details and darken the "nooks and crannies" as they say!

Power Poppy's Christmas Remix: Season of Serenity


Howdy all!  It’s Day 2 of our Power Poppy’s Christmas Remix event.  Today we share something brand spankin’ new! 

Introducing… Season of Serenity!

There are many magnificent parts to this new digital mini collection.  You will see all of the pieces today as you hop there the designer blogs.  I chose to colour up the blue jay and the sprig.


I used a combination of Copics for the base colours and then Polychromos Pencils to add in the details.  I just love the way this image came together.

Howdy all!  Happy World Cardmaking Day!

Today Power Poppy is celebrating with us by sharing some brand new and revamped gorgeous digital images.  We have new digis with frilly floral and furry fauna alike!

One of our newest stamps is this “The Fox and the Moth” image.  It’s packed with this sweet little fox and all of his glorious woodsy surroundings.


I had a ball colouring up this image with my Copics and Polychromos Pencils.  It certainly was a labour of love.

Introducing... Floribunda

Today is the final day of our Enchanted Garden stamp reveal from Power Poppy.  Don’t forget to join us again tomorrow as we team up with some of the Ellen Hutson crew and share some final card creations!

I LOVE this whole frame of flora to colour.  I took my Copic Markers and coloured in all the base colours to my leaves and flowers. Then I took my Polychromos Pencils and added in all the fine little details.  I love how it all turned out!

Happy Saturday all!  It’s Day 4 of our Enchanted Garden reveal for Power Poppy.


Today we’re going to be sneak peeking the delicious “Summer Berries” stamp set.  For more information on this stamp set, please visit the Power Poppy Blog.

I vowed to keep this card today very clean and simple.  I stamped the cute little birdie image with the strawberries and proceeded to colour my little bird as if it were an Oriole. I wanted a bright and happy coloured bird on my card.

Introducing... Amaryllis Bliss


Howdy and welcome to final day of the Power Poppy “Happiest Holiday 2018” release.

Today we introduce you to… Amaryllis Bliss…




This stamp collection contains a trio of flowers begging to be colored in delicious reds, pinks, and whites — accented by your choice of greenery. Sprigs of fragrant cedar and jasmine would love to be tucked under the petals. A few Amaryllis leaves are included, too! It also contains three pretty sentiments sharing holiday peace.  This stamp set also has an accompanying set of dies too!


I chose to colour my Amaryllises in white.  I found this gorgeous inspirational photo of white blooms with delicate red edges so I though might add a bit of whimsy to my blooms.

Introducing... Through The Woods & Snuggle Down


It’s Day 3 of our Happiest Holidays 2018 release for Power Poppy!

Today we actually have TWO new stamps sets to share!

First is… “Through The Woods”…

This stamp set features some woodsy sentiments and evergreens as far as the eye can see. A potted tree has several birdie visitors, plus an extra bird in flight as a separate stamp, who is poised to land in the tree to "gather together" with his friends.

And our second stamp collection is “Snuggle Down”…

It features stamps to create a fun Tartan plaid! Plus this set has two focal images - one is a stack of wool blankets with a lantern and sleigh bells and a second with some fun & festive thermoses.

I decided to combine elements of both stamp sets on one card to share.  Can I tell you how much I LOVE the stamps to create your own plaid???

Introducing... Christmas Corgis!

Welcome to Day 1 of the Power Poppy “Happiest Holiday 2018” release!

Today we’re introducing you to… “Christmas Corgis”.


Our first stamp set is in honour of the Power Puppy, Marcella’s Corgi, Mr. Tibbs. He’s a real stinker as an actual pet, but in cartoon form, he sure is pretty cute! This stamp set features three Corg-centric images with a holiday border snippet and plenty of corny Corgi sentiments.

I decided to pair up a few Corgis fellas and hooked them up to Santa’s sleigh…

Power Poppy: Cabbage and Kale

Happy Saturday all!  Today is Day 4, the final day of our Natural Wonders Collection reveal at Power Poppy!

The last clear stamp set is going to be one of your favourites I’m sure!  It’s called… Cabbage and Kale!

I wanted to highlight all the colouring using Polychromos Pencils (approximately 4 hours!) I did on my images so I kept today’s card rather simple…
