Let's Get Krafty!

Welcome, Krafty Friends!  We are ready to kick off the FINAL release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps for 2019!

It's Day ONE of our November Krafty Peeks and we have SO many wintry new goodies and we can't wait to share them with YOU!  We've got new stamp sets, stencils, ink and enamel dots!  Hold on to your snowflakes 'cause here we GO!

We are starting things off today with a super sweet new KRAFTY stamp set from artist, NEDA SADREDDIN!!  You will also notice that this image is part of our brand new LOGO!  It's called.....LET'S GET KRAFTY!
Check out this sassy krafter getting inky and ready to create lots of cards, gifts, bookmarks, planners, art and lots more! She works for just about every type of krafty AND did you see the fabulous sentiments? This gal is 'bringing krafty back!

For my card today I first began by creating my back ground.  I used the new Stained Glass Stencil along with our new ink, Whimsical Wisteria & some Pink Pizzazz to create it.  To get the pattern shown, I inked my stencil one time then I shifted the diamond shape to sit centered within the octagon shape and voila!!!

Once coloured, I placed my focal point on with a fun popped up sentiment and some of glorious new Polar Dots!

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the LET'S GET KRAFTY stamp set in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new November Kraftin' Kimmie products!

You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink line! It's a gorgeous new bright purple colour named WHIMSICAL WISTERIA!  As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, mini cubes and ink refills!

We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help accessorize your creations!  They are called KRAFTY SCENERY 2 STENCIL and the STAINED GLASS STENCIL!

And of course, we are adding the perfect new coordinating Krafty Dots for this release!  These ones are called POLAR DOTS!

You'll get to see all of our brand new goodies in action over the next few days of November Krafty Peeks and everything will be released at our LIVE Online Release Party in the Krafty Friends Facebook Group on Sunday, November 17th at 2pm EST!

For now, hop around and check out some incredible designs from our Krafty Team!! Be sure to leave some love on EACH stop on the hop because I'm going to be giving away some krafty $$ to the shop!! PLUS our designers are AMAZING and you should tell them so!

Howdy November... a Little Late!

Oh goodness me!  I haven’t shared some of November Club Canvo spreads with you yet!  And this Club Canvo month is SO adorable!  I think it’s been one of my most favourite collections for the Canvo yet!

You can check out the pieces of this month’s collection below:

Like all of my other months, I start my month with an introductory page to the month.  So for November, I created a wreath like focal point using some Autumn colors plus I included that sweet adorable scarecrow!!!

Next I always create a monthly calendar.  For November, I decided to the use only one page to put my entire calendar on.  I used some plummy, bluey tones for this page!

And for my first weekly spread, since November only had 2 days in it’s first week, I chose to create an upper focal spread for those first two days of the month.

I think this super cute stamp set would be perfect for cards too!

Thanks for stopping by!  I’d love to hear what your favorite spread so far is this month!

Festive Tags!

Happy Sunday!  Today I’m over on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog this weekend sharing a festive project!

My son’s school is having a fun Christmas Market where students are able to pay a small donation to shop in the “shop” of donated goods as gifts for their family.  Parents are asked for donations and also things like wrapping paper, tags and other decorations for the gifts.

So I decided that not only am I going to donate some crocheted hats but I’d donate some fun tags for gifts.

Join me on the GSD Blog right HERE.

Here’s a little peek for you…

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you’re getting crafty today!

Urban Oasis Poinsettia

Yesterday Catherine Pooler Designs released the new Retro Winter collection.

I’ve decided to share a project today using the new all four new ink colors, Sangria, Pink Champagne, Orange Peel and Hot Tub plus the stunning new Feeling Chilly Patterned Paper collection.

I grabbed the ‘Tis the Season stamp set and a panel of 3”x5.5” of Premium White cardstock and stamped the poinsettia flower, pine boughs and multiple sized dots on it.

I added it to a panel of the pretty Hot Tub colored starred paper.  I added a “Merry” die from the Merry Labels Dies and a sentiment from the Merry & Bright Boughs stamp set.

This would make an amazing Christmas card to send to your friends and family!

Happy stamping!

The Retro Winter Collection is Here!

Today is release day for the Catherine Pooler Designs collection called Retro Winter.  Included in this release are some wintery stamp sets, chilly dies, some fun patterned papers and FOUR new beautiful ink colors!

For my cards today I have used all four new ink colors, Sangria, Pink Champagne, Orange Peel and Hot Tub plus the adorable Happy Buddies stamp set and it’s coordinating dies, the Happy Buddies Dies.  I have also included the delicious Feeling Chilly Patterned Paper pack.

For this card I stamped and cut the reindeer and the happy banner from the Happy Buddies stamp set and its coordinating die set, Happy Buddies Dies.  I colored in all the parts of my reindeer and banner using the same Urban Oasis inks and some Sand Castle ink using my Blender Pen.

I added the deer to my Circles Die cut area of the Feeling Chilly patterned paper and added some fun Cincinnati Sequin Mix.  And voila… a super cute holiday card!

For my next card I used the Postage Stamp Dies and cut out 3 rectangles from the patterned paper.  I used the Sangria ink and stamped out 3 of the critters and die cut them using their corresponding dies.

I adhered a piece of clear acetate to the back of the rectangular windows and then inked up a glow of Orange Peel ink where each critter was going to sit in the window.  Then I added a few Cincinnati Sequins to each window and adhered the panels together using some 3D foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by!  More inky projects tomorrow!

Tic Tac Toe!

Happy Saturday everyone! Welcome to another fun Saturday Challenge with Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!

This week is actually MY turn to challenge you!  This week’s challenge is a Tic Tac Toe challenge.  You know the rules… make a creation using one of the horizontal, diagonal, up or down lines!

I needed to make one more Halloween card for a family member so I grabbed the “I Want Candy”, Caroling Cuties” and the “Scaredy Cats” stamp sets and stamped and masked  and created a scene.  I also use our new Brick Wall Stencil as well!  I used the "Orange, Enamel Dots, Patterned Paper" line for my card.

I wanted my two little trick-or-treators to be walking along the sidewalk getting ready to knock on a door so that’s the scene I created.  I coloured everything in the scene using Copic Markers and KKS inks for the stenciling.

Don’t forget to play along with all the other fun challenges going on over at the Krafty Friends Facebook page too.  All the challenges have been extended so you can playing along with everything until October 31st!

Plus... here's the current monthly sketch that you might want to use for one of your squares for this challenge.

Don't forget to take advantage of the Frugal Friday sales too!  Lots of great stamps sets on sale this weekend!

Skating By with a Holiday HI!

Howdy all!  Happy Thursday!  I'm sharing a rather chilly creation over on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog today; click here.

My card today features the new digital stamp, “Ice Skating Mouse”.  This is an adorable little mouse adorned with a sweet little hat, warm mitts and a fuzzy winter sweater all decked out in his skates.

I chose to color him using Copic Markers and then add some finer details with Polychromos Pencils.

To create the reflection, I just duplicated my image, flipped it on the horizontal plane and squished it in my photo editing software.

I did have a full video filmed for you but I’ve I can’t seem to get my camera to talk to my computer today so maybe next time I’ll have a video tutorial for you all.

Make sure you check out the Digital Stamp Area in the Gerda Steiner Designs store regularly.  Gerda is always added new images to create with!  PLUS, the digital stamp area is now even easier to search!  You can search for stamps that are birthday, Winter, Spring and Summer themed now much easier.

I hope my card inspires you to get out there and create!  See you again next time!
