Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Howdy all!  I’m Allison Cope and it’s almost St. Patrick’s Day so I thought I’d share a fun themed shaker card with you today.

I used the adorable new “St. Patrick’s Day Cat and Hat” digital stamped image for my card creation.

I had fun coloring in this sweet little putty-tat with Copic Markers.

I used lots of shiny things on my card, including some of my own foiled shamrock back ground paper.

I had actually filmed the entire card making process but somehow my files became corrupted and I couldn’t retrieve them.  So sorry!  Hopefully next time!

Happy Thursday everyone!  I'm here with a fun new card making and coloring tutorial for you!  Today I thought I would create with all kinds of the Gerda Steiner Designs bear images. There’s nothing sweeter that a tiny fuzzy bear to gawk at!
For my card project I used the following digital stamp images:

• Birthday Bear 
• You Are Beary Sweet
• Have a ‘Beary’ Sweet Day
• November/December 2016 Digital Stamp Bundle

Merry Little Gift Box

Howdy all!  I hope you are all ready for Christmas!  I am not ready.. not by a long shot!

Spencer has a gift exchange at school today and he wanted to give a contain of Jelly Bellies candy.  So instead of hitting up the Dollar Store for a container, I decided to make one myself!

Welcome 2020!

Happy Thursday!  I’m Allison Cope your hostess today over on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog today.

Most of my Christmas cards are made and off in the mail already so I thought I’d skip ahead to New Years cards.

I thought the adorable “Baby on the Moon” reminded me of the New Years Baby so I thought he might make the perfect 2020 card.

I colored him up using Copic Markers and then added some shimmer and shine using “Confetti Sparkle” cardstock, some silver foil and some Liquid Pixie Dust.

My son’s school is having a fun Christmas Market where students are able to pay a small donation to shop in the “shop” of donated goods as gifts for their family.  Parents are asked for donations and also things like wrapping paper, tags and other decorations for the gifts.

So I decided that not only am I going to donate some crocheted hats but I’d donate some fun tags for gifts.

Skating By with a Holiday HI!

Howdy all!  Happy Thursday!  I'm sharing a rather chilly creation over on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog today; click here.

My card today features the new digital stamp, “Ice Skating Mouse”.  This is an adorable little mouse adorned with a sweet little hat, warm mitts and a fuzzy winter sweater all decked out in his skates.

I chose to color him using Copic Markers and then add some finer details with Polychromos Pencils.

To create the reflection, I just duplicated my image, flipped it on the horizontal plane and squished it in my photo editing software.

I did have a full video filmed for you but I’ve I can’t seem to get my camera to talk to my computer today so maybe next time I’ll have a video tutorial for you all.

Make sure you check out the Digital Stamp Area in the Gerda Steiner Designs store regularly.  Gerda is always added new images to create with!  PLUS, the digital stamp area is now even easier to search!  You can search for stamps that are birthday, Winter, Spring and Summer themed now much easier.

A Trio of Penguins

Happy Thursday everyone!  Today I’m going to share a fun holiday card featuring some adorable digital images!

For my card, I wanted to keep my front panel very simple and feature the cute penguins from the “Holiday with gift and Penguins Collection” and also the penguin with the hat over his face from the “December/January 2016/2017 Digital Stamp Bundle”.  Both of these stamp bundles feature multiple digital images perfect for your Christmas cards.

I’m going to be using some Ranger Distress Oxide inks and my Copic Markers on my card today.

You've Got Mail!

Happy Friday all!  I'm Allison Cope and today we're going to play with a few different digital stamps.  I wanted to use the adorable "Snailmail" digi but I wanted my little snail to have some adorable companions so I found I few other digital images that had envelopes in their hands.  I found the owl with the letter in the "December/January 2016-2017 Digital Bundle" and also the cute "Monster Holding Letter".

I also wanted to share a bit about how I created my image in my editing software.  I use a very old version of PhotoShop, CS3.  If you are not familiar with it or it's out of your price range, try downloading and use the "GIMP" program.  There are tons of YouTube videos to help you learn all about the program plus it's FREE!

Halloween Kiddos

Happy Thursday!  Everyone needs that non-scary Halloween card for someone special!  So instead of creating a scary card, try making a whimsical one instead.

For my card I used the adorable witch and tiger trick-or-treaters from the “Halloween Kids Digital Stamp Bundle”.  This digital stamp bundle by Gerda Steiner Designs has a ton of Halloween digital images plus images to make a spooky scene too!

I colored in my kiddos with Polychromos Pencils and then added a soft Wilted Violet Distress Oxide back drop.  So simple and not scary at all!

Make 'em POP!

Howdy all!  Happy Thursday!  Today I'm here to share a very simple tutorial on how to make your little critters (or any other images) POP!

The key ingredient to this technique today is Olba glue. It’s a thick, clear glue with lots of body.  It allows you create a 3-D backer for your fussy cut images to pop up.

Today my card features the adorable “Monkey Hanging in There” and the “Bunny with Glasses” digital stamp sets from Gerda Steiner Designs.
