Kraft Cardstock, Sewing Machines and Tea Pots!

I have this serious addiction to kraft cardstock! I use it for anything and everything when it comes to creating. The last few days I have been using it to create some "vintage" feeling cards....

Just for You Tag Card

supplies: cardstock, Bazzill, Walmart; stamps, Gina K. Designs, Verve; ink, Copic, Ranger, Stampin' Up!; die cuts (tag), Spellbinder's; edge punch, Martha Stewart; pearls, BasicGrey; jute, Stampin' Up!.

I create the above card for a challenge in the Gina K. forums at Splitcoast for their new release. I am in love with the Gina K. sewing machine stamp I have!

You're in my Thoughts Shaker Card
supplies: cardstock, Bazzill, Walmart; stamps, Gina K. Designs; ink, Copic, Ranger, Stampin' Up!; die cut shapes, Spellbinder's; embossing folders, Cuttlebug; glitter, Making Memories; acetate hearts, Heidi Swapp; jute, Stampin' Up!.

Over at StampTV, Gina has a fun and easy tutorial for creating shaker cards (here and here). I have some bronze glitter and clear acetate inside my shaker card. See whatI men about the kraft cardstock?

Just for You Tea Pot
supplies: patterned paper, Jillibean Soup; cardstock, Bazzill, Coredinations, Walmart; stamps, Verve; ink, Copic, Ranger, Stampin' Up!; die cut shapes, Spellbinder's; edge punches, Martha Stewart, EK Siccess, Fiskars; embossing folder, Cuttlebug; pearls, BasicGrey; misc., ribbon.

A few weeks back I won myself a stamp set from Verve and I picked this pretty little tea pot stamp set from their newest release called A Cup of Life. I love the end result of this card.

Lovin the Mini Albums!

I am one lucky girl this past week or so! I have another project that I created featured on a blog!

This time, it's my coffee sleeve mini album project on the Creative Mini Albums blog, right here.

I loved creating this project. A simple binding of the coffee sleeves, some fun die cuts using some beautiful Graphic45 papers, some small wallet sized photos and some simple journaling strips and a few embellishments and VOILA! A finished mini album!

Thanks Kristine for allowing me to share this super fun project with your readers!

Awww.... I'm Blushng!

Back in April when I was home for ScrapFest in Kitchener, I came across a new stamp company that I feel in love with; Paper Pretties. So I grabbed a couple of their cute little boy themed stamps sets to play with.

Here's a card I created using one of the stamps I brought home from their "Cooper" line; Beach Bum. I coloured my entire image using Copics and I used some masking techniques and my Copic airbrush to create the sky and beach scene.

Well I finally posted this little card on their forum the other day, only to find THIS post on their blog yesterday. I got picked as their "Card of the Week". I'm SO honoured! Jodi, the writer of the post made me blush. Such kind and wonderful words. I'm still blushing now.

Thanks Jodi and Paper Pretties! You made my day!

I took the Plunge!

I took the plunge into the Etsy world.... meet.... Hand Crafted by Ally.

I have so many cards in my stash, most I created out of the shear love of creating so I thought that maybe I could make a few pennies for them since I won't be using them.

Well I guess we'll see how things go in the next few months.
