The Scrapping Bug - October Reveal

For October at The Scrapping Bug we got a super spooky scrapbook kit to work with this month.

Here are the 3 pages I made using the kit this month:

Countdown to Fright Night

This is a little calendar to countdown the days until Hallowe'en. I think I'm going to send it to Spencer's school for the teachers to use. Each round circle on the calendar comes off. I was orginally going to make them all magnets but I didn't have enough magnetic paper left.

Getting Ready

This is my Dad helping Spencer on with his costume 2 Hallowe'ens ago. I love these photos of the two of them together. They have a special bond with each other. I made the 2 little pumpkins but tracing a colouring book image I got off of the internet and then just cut out each section of the pumpkin from a different patterned paper.

A Spooktacular Hallowe'en

With each Bug kit you always get an assortment of fun and interesting die cut images. This month, the kit includes this fabulous title. I just made a very simple page for my last creation.

And finally, here's my card. As soon as I saw the haunted house die cut I knew I was going to create a card with multiple levels and so this is my end result.

This Week

Yes... I'm still alive. This past week has been hectic. Busy with getting the house unpacked and set up. I've also been fighting a nasty infection and have had a fever for a few days. I also have my first day of my new job tomorrow and I'm kinda nervous about it!

I'm in the process of creating my layouts and cards for my A Page in Time kits for June right now. I'm having fun with some gorgeous papers!

In the next few days I will show you what The Scrapping Bug kit for June has to offer. I had lots of fun with this one!

A Sneak Peek of my Scrapping Bug Creations!

Here's a little sneak peek of a card I made using the Scrapping Bug May kit.

I used the flower die cuts from the kit and ran them through my Cuttlebug using the "Tiny Bubbles" embossing folder. I inked some using chalk ink and left some without.


I even made a matching envelope for the card. I used the Cuttlebug A2 Borders plate from "Just My Type" on the envelope.


Just preparing to send out my cards today so they get there in time for next week. How about you... Are you prepared?

Spring has Sprung!

I created these two cards for a blog post for The Scrapping Bug a few weeks back. I had found this cute "Spring" printed ribbon my American Crafts and used it as my starting point for creating some cards.
