Critter Birthday Hooray!
I have a few birthdays coming up in the next few weeks so I thought I’d
better get my act in gear and get my cards finished and in the mail.
Today I’m playing along with the SugarPea Designs “Mix It Up Challenge”. I was inspired by the sketch in Challenge #29:
For my card I wanted to feature the critters from the “Everyday is Christmas” stamp set. And that fabulous little froggy is popped up on a mini Action Wobble to make him do a jig! LOL!
I also included a turtle in the inside of the card.
That fun sentiment and confetti is from the “Bring on the Cake” stamp set.
Don't forget to check out my current GIVEAWAY, right here! Last week's prize still hasn't been claimed. The silly thing is, is that the winner commented on the post but never really read it and didn't realize she was the winner. If she doesn't claim her prize before Friday, this week's winner will win BOTH stamp sets! Hooray! Good luck!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my card!

Hey all! Welcome to Day 5 of the Power Poppy “Spring Fling”
Collection clear stamp reveal. Today is our final day of sneak peeks. We have

I know it's extremely hard to see but I created a background using the beautiful sentiment included in the stamp set, distressed it a bit using some Ranger Distress Inks and then did a whole lot of stitching over top and then added the Chevron Segments Die from MFT over top.
A few things you need to check out before you go…

Power Poppy: Introducing Peony Muse & Artful Display
Woohoo! We’re on Day 4 of our amazing Spring
Fling clear stamp collection reveal for Power Poppy! Again today, we
have 2 more ah-mazing stamp sets to sneak peek.
Introducing… Peony Muse!
This stamp boosts two big fat peony blooms, a bud, several leaves, a stem, and two berry clusters for making any kind of arrangement you want. Sooo many ways to create with these stamps. This set too, comes with coordinating dies for pre-order beginning March 14th!
For my card today, I was actually first inspired by the colour palette of the striped paper. I’d been staring at me for days to create with it so I grabbed some matching Ranger Distress ink colours and created a very simple water colour display of Peonies.
I love the end result of this more masculine creation with all those ornate Peony florals.
And secondly, introducing… Artful Display!
This collection is very dear to our Marcella’s heart! It’s a grouping of decorative objects that folks can play with to create "room scenes" with dishes, platters, and even a vintage Oyster plate. Think of all the fun possibilities!!!
For this card, I wanted to keep things simple too so I created a fun almost quilted back ground and created a dish display from my fun “antique” blue china. I created some very simple designs on my plates too with just ink and a very unsteady hand… LOL!
Now, don't forget we have a month long sale going on too!
Now check out what my fellow Bloomies have created for you to check out today showcasing this two fun stamp sets!
Come back again tomorrow for our final brand new stamp set! And this last one’s a doozey! See you tomorrow!

Power Poppy: Introducing Loving Tulips & Sweet Memories
Hello fellow Power Poppy lovers! It’s Day 3 of our Spring
Fling clear stamp reveal! Today we have another 2 amazing stamp sets to
showcase.
Introducing… Loving Tulips!
Our Tulips in Hobnail Pitcher has been one of the most popular digital stamps we've ever released and Marcella got a lot of requests for this one as a stamp. She’s paired it with an exuberant Hello script that is based on a vintage greeting card, which she’s updated with a polka dot treatment. So cute! This stamp set too, has coordinating dies. Dies will go on pre-order on March 14th along with the sale of all the stamp sets.
And secondly, introducing… Sweet Memories!
This stunning collection of all kinds of sweet snippets of the delicate Sweet Peas will be sure to delight any colorist! So many possibilities of creating your own sweet smelling bouquet!
So today, I decided to combine our two stamp sets. I used multiple stamps from the Sweet Memories collection and then topped it off with a sentiment form the Loving Tulips collection.
I kept my card a simple, one layer creation and coloured using ZIG Clean Color Real Brush markers. I had fun building up the layers on this one!
Now come and check out what my fellow Bloom Brigaders have created for you to check out today!
Thanks for stopping by! Come back again tomorrow for TWO more brand new stamp sets! Yup… we’re up to 5 stamp sets sneak peeks and we have 3 more to go yet!

Power Poppy: Introducing Burst of Kindness & Succulent Singles
Howdy and welcome to Day Two of the Power Poppy “Spring Fling”
Collection reveal.
Today we have two brand new stamp sets to reveal…
Introducing… Burst of Kindness!
This stamp includes this gloriously ginormous bouquet of Spring florals and some buzzy friends. It’ll fit perfectly in your stamp stash.
And secondly, introducing… Succulent Singles!
This awesome 12 image & sentiment stamp set collection will go great with our first Succulent stamp success, our Sassy Succulents stamp collection. This beautiful stamp also includes a coordinating die set – you can pre-order the dies on March 14th but save some money and buy the set as a stamp & die combination at a reduced price. Woohoo!
So I have a card to share for each set today. First off is the Burst of Kindness stamp collection. I decided to spot light one of my favourite parts of the stamp set, this beautifully delicate butterfly out on one of the long sleek leaves of the bouquet.
I used some Prismacolor Colored Pencils to colour and highlight this little fella.
And for my second card creation using the awesome Succulent Singles collection, I decided to channel my inner blues…
I really like the rustic but almost nautical feel to this card!
All of the stamp shown today go on sale on March 14th. All dies will go on pre-order sale on March 14th as well.

This first delightful Spring themed stamp set is overflowing with blooming beauties! It features all kinds of flowering bulbs and woodland wild flowers. This stamp set is dear to my heart as it features some of the woodland wild florals I grew up with in South Western Ontario as a child growing up in the middle of a sugar maple bush. I just adore the Trilliums and the Lily of the Valley in this stamp set.
Meet… Natural Beauties from the Spring Fling Collection….
And YES... you read that right! There are coordinating dies with this stamp set!!!! WOOHOO!
Coordinating dies for the Natural Beauties stamp set will be available for pre-order on March 14th. Stay tuned for news on special pricing if you buy the stamp set and the coordinating die as a bundle!
For my card today, I wanted to keep it extra simple so it’s a single layer card using Copic Markers to colour in the images. I used my Copic Air Brush to colour in the soft yellow back ground today – super quick and easy to start!
Now, take a few moments and check out what my fellow Bloom Brigade gals have to share with you today!

Copic Markers: RV10, RV13, RV17, RV55, R12, R39, BG000, Y02, Y04,
YG01, YG03, YG07, YG17, YR000, E11, E13, E17, E19, E21, E23, E27, E29

Light Posts & a LOT of Giveaways!
Happy Thursday all!
I’m almost ready with all of my Power Poppy creations for our 5 day new clear stamp release beginning tomorrow! I have one more card I want to create but I wanted to share one simple card plus a few giveaway details!
So my card today features the digital stamp set called Wreath: Succulents and Baubles and the sentiment is from the Simple Joys stamp set.
The beauty of digital stamps is that you can resize them to suit your needs. Since my little lamp post was so small in scale, I knew I’d have to make my little wreath quite small. It actually measures just under 3/4”… it’s so cute though isn’t it? LOL
Don't forget to load up on digi's to colour too...
I’m also playing along with the Merry Monday Challenge this week, #238; Light Posts…
Now, there are a few things I also wanted to share with you about some cool GIVEAWAYS going on right now…
Now…
TODAY’S GIVEAWAY:
Power Poppy will be celebrating their THIRD birthday in the not too distant future so I thought I’d share some Power Poppy gifts with YOU! Today I’m giving away the stunning “My English Rose” clear stamp set. All you have to do is leave a comment below to WIN! A random winner will be chosen and posted here on the blog on Friday March 17th.
Thanks for stopping by! Good luck!
