Beachy Bears & Fruit

I've been having some fun with some of my new My Favorite Things supplies that arrived this week!

I thought I'd play along with 2 of their fun challenges this week.  First off is the...

The sketch this week is a slimline sketch but I squished it a bit... LOL!

My sketch card creation features the sweet little "Bunch of Happiness" stamp set!  I piled the whole bunch on my card...   I also used the fun "Watercolor Wash Rectangle Stencil" to create the back drop for all my fruity friends.

I needed another fun card to send out so I also created a card using this week's Color Challenge:

For this card, I featured the adorable bears & bees of the "We Beelong" stamp set and the "Watercolor Free Form Stencil" too..

Thanks MFT for inspiring my cards today!  Come and play along too!

Happy Thursday!  I wanted to participate in the newest My Favorite Things challenge and use their fabulous sketch.  It's Sketch #383:
Here’s the card I created…

And it’s interactive. You can pull out the tag behind the circle.

I used Copic Markers to color up my little girl and also to make my plaid banner…

Thanks for dropping by!  Hope you have a great rest of the week!

She actually moves up and down too!

I used this week's MFT Challenge sketch for my card design. Click here for the challenge.

Light Posts & a LOT of Giveaways!

Happy Thursday all!

I’m almost ready with all of my Power Poppy creations for our 5 day new clear stamp release beginning tomorrow!  I have one more card I want to create but I wanted to share one simple card plus a few giveaway details!

So my card today features the digital stamp set called Wreath: Succulents and Baubles and the sentiment is from the Simple Joys stamp set.

The beauty of digital stamps is that you can resize them to suit your needs.  Since my little lamp post was so small in scale, I knew I’d have to make my little wreath quite small.  It actually measures just under 3/4”… it’s so cute though isn’t it?  LOL

Don't forget to load up on digi's to colour too...

Have an Elf-tastic Birthday!

December is a very busy birthday month for my family.  My sister and my Mom (and my Dad too) all have birthdays in December.  I think it would suck having a birthday so close to Christmas.  I’m so thankful mine’s in June!

So I have already sent off my sister’s birthday card but I have been procrastinating on making my Mom’s until last night.  It's going to be late but oh well!

I was inspired by the Seize the Birthday challenge where we were asked to use a holiday stamp on a birthday card… and the light bulb went on!  I grabbed my "Santa’s Elves" stamp set from My Favorite Things and knew that I’d find one of the elves with a present in his hand… perfect!!
I thoroughly enjoyed colouring in my little elf using the no-line colouring technique and my Copic markers.

I added lots of bling to this one... glitter paper... glitter pens and sequins too!

So I used the current sketch from the MFT Sketch Challenge (#257) and a birthday card was born!
Thanks for stopping by!
