Power Poppy Happpiest Holiday 2017 Blog Hop

Today’s the day… the day you can order up all those amazing holiday stamps so you can be creating some amazing Christmas creations for your friends and family.  We’re so excited that we’re all sharing one last project using the Happiest Holidays 2017 collection from Power Poppy!

Today I chose to incorporate a number of the new stamp sets in one little ol’ card.  I started with making my own patterned paper using some the fun knit elements from the “Snow Kissed” stamp set.  Then I stamped out my greeting from the “Glitter House Village” collection and then I added a popped up tree in a cloche from our “Under Glass: Christmas Traditions”.

Power Poppy: Winter Wonderland

Happy Monday!  I hope you had an amazingly creative weekend. Today is final day of Power Poppy’s newest Happiest Holiday 2017 release.

Today’s stamp set features a beautiful holiday bouquet of Poinsettia, Poppies, Pepperberries and Dusty Miller.  It’s truly magnificent!

For my card I draped the bouquet over opposite corners of my cardstock and coloured away.

Very unique isn’t it!  It’s actually spray painted and then dusted with gold glitter!!!!

So added some gold spray to card too...

For my card I wanted to share that sweet single Chickadee.  These little birds remind me of my childhood as my Dad built these cool bird feeders and we put them outside the living room window and we’d have all the little birds including Chickadees come and visit for a snack in the winter.  So dear to my heart…

Power Poppy: Glitter House Village


Happy Saturday!  Today is Day 6 of Power Poppy’s newest and most fabulous Happiest Holiday 2017 release.

Today’s stamp set showcases the sweetest little village set up that you have ever seen! You are going to want to glitter this one from one end to the other!

For my card I wanted to keep my colour palette fairly simple so I stuck to brown tones for the houses, 3 shades of green for the trees and some touches of purple and red.  And lots of sparkle of course!!!

Power Poppy: Flowering Santa

Howdy all!  Today is Day 4 of Power Poppy’s newest and most fabulous Happiest Holiday 2017 release.

Today’s stamp set features the cheery face of the the beloved Santa Claus and some gorgeous holiday florals and sentiments.

Introducing… Flowering Santa

For my card to day I wanted to add some colour to not only the flowers in his beard but a little colour to his actual beard.  If you look closely, I have incorporated some pinks, purples and greens right into some of those curls.
Sorry I don’t have a Copic Marker list for you as I was colouring this cheery fella on the go at the time!

It wouldn't be a holiday card without some kind of sparkle on it...

Power Poppy: Under Glass: Christmas Traditions

Happy Wednesday!  Today is Day 3 of Power Poppy’s newest and most fabulous Happiest Holiday 2017 release.

Today’s stamp set features some fun winter and holiday scenes that can go under glass.  There are so many fun things to colour in this stamp set!  And of course, you can stamp just the scenes themselves without the bell jar!

Power Poppy: Rustic Rejoicing

Happy Tuesday!  Today is Day 2 of Power Poppy’s newest and most fabulous Happiest Holiday 2017 release.

Today’s stamp set features two glorious holiday favourites… an angelic nestled dove and a swag of shiny bells & pine cones and of course, some amazing sentiments to accompany them.

Introducing… Rustic Rejoicing

For my card to day I’m showcasing the stunning bells & pine cones.  I was inspired by the greys and blues of the snowflake paper so I incorporated those colours into my swag.  I just love how it turned out!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps: Introducing... Evangeline Angel!

Welcome back to Day TWO of our October Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Did you love yesterday's peek?? So beautiful, right?! Well then you're going to love today's peek too because we've got another gorgeous ANGEL!

It's EVANGELINE ANGEL! 

I'm super excited to share this one because.....some of you have seen it already! That's because it was the Super Secret Krafty Klub stamp set that was included in the Khristmas Kard Kit!!! So those who preordered it already have it in their inky little fingers and you'll get to see their creations today because they are our fabulous GUESTS ~ that’s me today!!

This adorable new stamp set comes with one large main image and three fabby sentiments!!

I just adore that Evangeline is such a festive tree hugger!  LOL!

Monster Madness!

Last night I was up creating a couple of fun Halloween cards to send out.  Typically I don't send out Halloween cards but I couldn't resist the cute "Monster Mash" stamp set from SugarPea Designs.

I made this card for the MFT WCMD challenge #3; By the Numbers. For the challenge, you had to use a number of some kind on your card.  This was the only thing I could find that was number related!!!  LOL!


I also created this card for the SugarPea Designs "Mix It Up Challenge #36";  I was inspired by the purple and the theme of Halloween.



My second card is also another Halloween creation.  I tell ya... those little monsters are just too adorable and fun to color!

I made this card for the 4th MFT challenge: Make & Mail.  The challenge asked us to create a card and mail it... yup, as simple as that!  I made a matching envelope to send it out right away!


I used the fun "SugarCut - SpookyScape" die to create a fun back ground for those little monsters for this card.

Rainbow Hippo Wishes!

Yes... another post about World Card Making Day!  But seriously, I've had some major creative mojo in the last few days so I've been taking complete advantage of it!

This card is for the CHALLENGE #1 for My Favorite Things.  Their first challenge was all about the ROYGBIV!  Yup... rainbows!



So I first created my back ground using the "Die-namics Chevron Segments Cover-Up" die cut form white cardstock.  I used my Copic air brush system and coloured in my background and then cut a black cardstock border.  Then I used the "Die-namics A2 Stitched Rectangles STAX Set 1" die to create a larger mat plus some fun vellum clouds form the "Die-namics Stitched Cloud Edges" die and a row of "Die-namics Grassy Edges" inside the frame.

To finish it off, I stamped, coloured and cut out the fat little hippo and the little birdies from the "BB Happy Hippos" stamp collection.  Too cute right???

Birthday Otters

Today, My Favorite Things is also celebrating World Card Making Day of course with a few challenges.

Challenge #2:  One of their challenges is all about using lots of dies.  So I pulled out some fun MFT dies to use for my next card today.

I just adore the little otters in the "BB Otterly Love You" stamp set!  Not only is this a SHAKER card but those 2 little otters actually rotate around the card's sentiment!  YUPPERS... it's truly an interactive card!
