Healing Bouquet

Today is day 2 of the Fresh-Squeezed Scents Collection for Power Poppy.

Today we share another amazing spray of fruit and flowers... called "Healing Bouquet".

I chose to make a fun slimline card featuring two sprays put together.

I coloured everything in Copic Markers and then used my Polychromos Pencils to add depth and shading.  I loved colouring up this image!!

Aloe & Oranges

Happy Thursday everyone!  Over at Power Poppy, Marcella is releasing two new beautiful digital stamp sets!  This mini collection is called the "Fresh-Squeezed Scent Collection".

Today we are sharing the stunning new "Aloe & Oranges" digital stamp set! Isn't this display of fruit and plants cool?

I used Copic Markers to color in the base of the image and then I used Polychromos Pencils to add in some of the details and darken the "nooks and crannies" as they say!

Happy Hump Day!  It’s time for a brand new group of digital stamps from Power Poppy!  Come and take a gander at all the amazing tags from the Handmade With Love Tags collection. It’s packed full of amazing tag images for the holiday season.

For my first tag creation, I used the Reindeer tag and blew it up to put in the center of this square piece of patterned paper that I also drew inspiration from.

I just love the added sparkle on this card too…

Plus I made 3 more mini tags for my son's Christmas Bazaar using 3 of the other tag designs...

Now go and take a look at all the amazing tag creations the Power Poppy designers have to share…

Happy Monday!  Let’s get started with Day 6 of the Power Poppy Christmas Remix shall we!

Today we’re focusing on the glorious new digital “Poinsettia XL”.  It’s just truly amazing!

For my card, I wanted lots of shimmer and shine so I first printed out my image on my laser printer and then added foil to the entire thing. I coloured my image rather simply with some soft pinky-peach Copic Markers.

Here’s a look at the card on it’s side.  You can kind of see the circular foil goodness. PLUS... I created my own patterned paper with all those holiday related words.  I used sentiments or partial sentiments from the digital stamp sets including Winter Flora, and Chickadee in Barberry.

Power Poppy: Introducing... Under Glass & a Blog Hop

Happy Sunday everyone!  Today is the final day of our “Abundance” collection Sneak Peeks!  Yup… we’ve had 5 new and super detailed beauties come into the Power Poppy shop.

Our Power Poppy final stamp set is…. (drum roll please!)….Under Glass”!

The concept for this stamp set is that these are all vignettes that can work on their own OR under the glass dome (also called a cloche), which is a super old time way to keep plants warm in chilly temperatures, but is now a hugely popular design trend for displaying cute stuff!!

I just HAD to use the nautical vignette because it would totally fit into my home decor.

And here’s a close up of my Copic colouring of my cloche.  I used some white gel pen to achieve some of the highlights on the glass.
COPICS: Coffee Pot: W0, W2, R08, R14, B97  Sand/Shellfish: E00, E31, E33, E34, E35, Y23, Y32, YR12
