Cool Trucks Coming

I woke up yesterday early this morning and watched the latest edition of Craft Roulette. This week's episode was a little different.  This week Mary had three guest designers... and they happen to be all Canadian!

The parameters for #63 are as follows:

  • Project:  6x6 sketch (see the 2 sketches below)
  • Colors:  Cool colors
  • Element:  Truck(s) and/or Car(s)
  • Random:  Envelope

I began with locating some fun Purple Onion Designs images with a truck and an envelope.

I used Copic Markers to colour in all my images.  I used Aquatini ink for my sentiment and Catherine Pooler "Snowy Day 6x6" papers for my squares.  So much fun!

Don't forget to mark your calendars this month and join me on Friday July 2nd as I will be a Craft Roulette guest with my fellow crafty friends Sandy Boone and Candice Richardson!

Craft Roulette is streaming on YouTube now, so come and subscribe: Craft Roulette YouTube .

Birthday Seaside Pleasures

Happy Saturday!  Today's Saturday Challenge over at Three Room Studio.  This week's challenge is to make BIRTHDAY card!

I grabbed the adorable "Mermaid at Heart" stamp set  and stamped out the pretty mermaid and a few of her ocean friends.

The sentiments on the flowing banner are included on the "Yay!" and "Let's Hygge" stamp sets.

I had a blast colouring in the watery back ground using my Copics.

Have a great rest of your weekend!

What's Canoe With You?

 Happy Friday all!

Today I'm sharing a simple card I made for the SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge.

The challenge... use either the color palette and/or the sketch, SPDMIX79:

I decided to stick with the sketch and the sweet "Indian Summer" stamp set.  I even made my own leafy patterned paper using the small leaves in the stamp set.

Don't forget to check out tonight's Craft Roulette game episode.  This episode features the "Canada's Lockdown Queens".  It should be super fun!  Starts at 5:30pm MST.

Have a great weekend!

My sentiments is from the Catherine Pooler "Birthday Cake Remix" stamp set.

My card today was created for the Seize the Birthday Challenge (Make it a bouquet) and the As You See It Challenge (First Flower of Spring - mine is the daffodil).

I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday!

Here is my sketch for this week, SC855;

I kept my card in the square format...

Glitter Girls

Happy Victoria Day weekend to all of my fellow Canadians!  Here in Medicine Hat, like typical Alberta, we have snow!  So I hope you are enjoying the nice weather wherever you happen to live.

This week our lovely hostess Marilyn has challenged us to create a card with GLITTER.

For my slimline card I started by creating my own stencil using circle dies and then I tinted my Glimmer Paste with a pretty light purple ink.  I added some tiny stars from the "Believe in Fairies" stamp set.

Then I stamped and coloured in all the girls from the brand new stamp sets, "Aww Thanks" and "Hello Friend".  I cut each of them out using their coordinating die sets.

Now take a moment and visit all of my fellow DT members for some fun sparkly inspiration...

I hope you have a fabulous weekend everyone!  I hope you get a little creative.

Aquarium Card

Happy Hump Day!  Today I'm sharing a fun card that I sent a dear friend from the tow we used to live in about 2 years ago.  I miss my little group of crafty gals.

So I first created a simple box card with a 1/2" frame.  Each of my adorable critters is mounted on a little paper box and has a little acetate piece attached to the side of the box.  This allows each critter to pop up as you open the card (it lays flat to fit in an envelope).

My sentiment (and critters) are all embossed with Gold embossing powder and colored in using Copic Markers.

I even stamped my envelope and the inside of the card panel I adhered to the back.

I hope you a crafty day!

Splitcoast Sketch ~ Birthday Parade

Howdy all!  I'm sharing my card that I created using the newest Splitcoaststampers card sketch.

Here is this week's sketch, SC854:

Here is my card using the adorable critters from the Hello Bluebird stamp set, "Party Parade";

My front panel is all one layer.  I used some Catherine Pooler "Serenade" ink to create the back drop with the trees and then some "Hot Tub" ink to stamp the musical notes to create my own patterned paper.  I coloured all my critters with Copic Markers with a touch of Polychromos Pencils to put in some of the finer details.  I used my Copic Airbrush System to create the fun splatters too!

Here's a little bit of a closer look at my critters...

Club Canvo - Tracker Page

Happy Tuesday!  Today I'm sharing a fun way to create a tracker in your bullet journal.

The products I used for this tracker page all belong to the May's Club Canvo Subscription from Catherine Pooler Designs.

I used the fun "Just a Squeeze Stencil" from this collection and some fun rainbow inks; Samba, Tiki Torch, Limoncello, Grass Skirt, Something Borrowed and Pixie Dust.

I used the "Habit Tracker" stamp set to create the page's title.

I accidentally dropped the greenery stamp right in the middle of my page while stamping a few on the page.  Oops!

Join me tomorrow, for more fun June Canvo spreads!  Have a great day!

Just Swimming By

Happy Thursday!  Today I'm sharing another fun "Wave of Happiness" collection by Catherine Pooler Designs.

Today I'm featuring the octopus from the "Ocean Chums" stamp set.  She's cut out using the "Ocean Chums Die Set". I colored her in using Copic Markers today.  If you take a gander behind her, I used the fabulous "Coral Garden Background".  So fun!
