Three Room Studio ~ My Favourite Colour!

Happy Saturday everyone!  It's time for another fun Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio.

This week our challenge is to create a card with YOUR favourite COLOUR!  Yes... you can choose any colour to create with.  Now, you DO NOT have to create with just one colour like I did (monochromatic), you can use other colours just make your favourite the key colour on your creation.

PURPLE is my favourite colour!!! To begin today's card, I stamped my mermaid and her fishy friends from the "Mermaid at Heart" using Memento "Tuxedo Black" ink.  Then I created masks for each one.  I also created a random edged mask to place around my scene.

With all the masks on my images, I used my Copic Air Brush System, I laid down the dark purple background for the ocean-scape.

I peeled off all my masks and then I coloured my images using all kinds of BV Copic Markers.  I had fun putting in lots of shadows, shading and scaly details.  I used my Copic Blender marker to add some bubbles to the scene.

I wanted a bold sentiment so I chose to use the large script thank you from the "Aww Thanks" stamp set and embossed it in gold embossing powder.

Three Room Studio ~ Love is in the Kitchen

Happy New Year everyone!  It's time for another fun Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio.

This week our challenge is to create a card using the following photo as your inspiration.  You can be inspired by color, shape, theme and whatever you see as inspiration in the photo...

For today's card I was inspired by the shades of pink and red plus the hearts of course!

I began my creating my background using the "Heart Ray Quarter Stencil" and 3 different colored red/pink inks.  Then I splattered with some fun sparkly silver paint.

Then I stamped one of the sweet little fairies from the "Believe in Fairies" and colored her in with Copic Markers.  I die cut her out with the coordinating die, here.

For my sentiment, I kept it super simple.  I just stamped the "Thank You" image with black ink from the "Aww Thanks" stamp set and die cut it out with the "Aww Thanks Die" set.

I popped up my little sparkly winged fairy and sentiment on the card and tada... a thank you card was born!

This week our challenge is to create a BIRTHDAY card.

Today's cute card features the "Deck the Howls" digital stamp set.  This stamp set has some cute little puppies in it and they are either wearing sweaters or not!  I just adore this super darling group of howlers for my birthday card!

To create the background for my pups, I used the "Sparkly Stars Stencil" and a soft  palette of Catherine Pooler inks!  So simple but perfect for my puppies!

Three Room Studio ~ Pick a Sketch

Happy Saturday everyone!  It's time for another fun Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio.

This week our challenge is to create a card using one of the two sketches seen below.  Just choose Sketch A or B to inspire your next card.

For my card today, I chose to use Sketch A.  I began by making my own background.  I used the coffee bean stamps from the "Awesome Coffee" stamp set using Memento "Rich Cocoa" ink.  I stamped them all over the back ground, then I used a Copic Markers to add some shadows and some fun splatter.

Then I stamped one of the girls from the new "Just a Moment" stamp set and also coloured her up using Copic Markers.  I added a simple sentiment from the same stamp set in red ink.

Three Room Studio ~ Splish! Splash!

Happy Saturday everyone! It's time for another fun Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio.

This week our challenge is to create a card with a WATER THEME.  Now that theme can be interpreted in a few different ways!  You can create a water theme like a pond or aquarium but you could also use water to create a background like using watercolors.  The idea is to have fun!

I started by creating a watery background for my card by using a variety of Karin markers first.  Then I stamped out my images from the "Mermaid at Heart" stamp set with Desert Sand Memento ink.  I coloured all my images using Copic Markers and then I fussy cut them all out.

Here's a little close up of all my little sea creatures...

Birthday Pansy Wishes

Happy weekend!  I hope you're having a great Saturday!

Today starts a brand new challenge over at Three Room Studio!

This week's challenge is to use some kind of FLORAL on your project!

I those to use the sweet little "Pansy" digital stamp set today on my card.  I actually layered the digital image twice - I flipped and shrunk it down for a layered look. I printed it out on my printer on some twinkly Sweet Sentiment Coloring Cardstock and then I coloured up my floral cluster using Copic Markers.

To finish the card off, I stamped a birthday sentiment from the "Simple Sentiment" stamp set in CP Drive In ink.

Such a simple but bright and fun birthday card!

Make sure you check out my fellow designers and what they have created to share today:

Ombre Hearts and Hugs

Happy Saturday everyone!  It's time for another fun Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio.

This week our challenge is to create a card which features LOVE &/or HEARTS this week.  Yup, it's that simple!

Today I'm playing with the fun "Heart Ray Quarter Stencil" and the adorable "Believe in Fairies" plus the sentiment today is from the "Simple Sentiments" stamp set.

I started by laying down my stencil and created a pink to purple ombre of gorgeous hearts using Catherine Pooler inks; It's a Girl, Be Mine and Flirty Fuchsia inks.  I added just a tiny splatter of a white metallic gold paint across the hearts from the Tambi Gansai "Starry Night" paint palette.

I colored my little fairy with Copic Markers and die cut her out using the coordinating die.

I added a very simple sentiment... and there she is!!

Who does love an ombre array of hearts?!?!

Three Room Studio ~ Rich Cocoa Browns

Hello crafty friends!  Welcome to another fun Saturday Challenge with Three Room Studio.

This week our challenge is to create a card using some a MONOCHROMATIC color scheme.  It's that easy!  Choose any color you wish!!

I began by choosing the color brown so I grabbed my Momento Rich Cocoa ink and my darling "Mermaid at Heart" and "Welcome Little One" stamp sets.

I stamped the mermaid and turtles and then used my Copic Markers to color everything in.  I used E21, E13, E23 and E49.

I used my Copic Airbrush and added a little bit of inking and splattering across the background.  Plus I used the "Red Gold" paint from my Gansai Tambi "Starry Night" paint palette and splattered it across the back ground too.

To create a tiny bit of highlights, I did go in with my White Luminance pencil and added some to each turtle, the mermaid and also the sentiment.
