Three Room Studio ~ Sharky Shaker

Happy Saturday everyone!  It's time for another fun Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio.

This week our challenge is to create a card that includes an ANIMAL.

For today's card I stamped all the cute and adorable sea creatures and seashells from both the "Welcome Little One" and "Mermaid at Heart" stamp sets onto a blue piece of cardstock using blue ink.  I splattered the panel with gold paint and die cut it with a scalloped edges rectangle.

Then I stamped the sweet little shark from the "Welcome Little One" again in blue ink and colored him up with blue Copic Markers.  I fussy cut him out and added him to the outside of a tiny oval shaker element filled with blue and gold sequins.

To finish off the card I gold heat embossed on the sentiment "Dream Big" from the "Welcome Little One" stamp set and added it in a banner style under the little shark shaker.

A touch of gold cardstock frame and the card is complete!

Now, check out my fellow Design Team members...

Now it's your turn!!  Check out all the details on the Three Room Studio blog on how you can join along!

Good luck!

Three Room Studio ~ Rainbow Happiness

Happy Saturday!  Today I'm participating in the Saturday Challenge over at Three Room Studio!

This week's challenge is to use a RAINBOW on your project!  Fun right!!

I started by ink blending my rainbow background with my Distress Oxide inks.  I stamped all the little tiny stars from the "Believe in Fairies" stamp set.

Next I stamped the fairy and her little critter friends from the "Believe in Fairies" stamp set and colored them up with Copic Markers.

I finished my card by die cutting out the "Yay!" from the "Yay! Die" set in black cardstock.

Three Room Studio ~ My Froggy Friend!

Happy Saturday everyone!  It's time for another fun Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio.

This week our challenge is to create a card featuring YOUR favourite stamp set!

I'm your hostess this week and my absolute favourite stamp is the adorable "It's a Ponderful Life" stamp set!  This stamp set features 2 little frogs, loads of lily plants and cool Bullrush and reed images... all for building a pond scene.  It also has a coordinating die!

I began by stamping all the images in my background. I masked off the skyline and used my Copic Airbrush system to spray on my sunset and then spray on my water's base colour.

I coloured all my images using Copic Markers including my little froggy friend. I die cut him using the coordinating die.  I popped up my little croaker on a mini action wobbler so he wiggles!!  (giggle!)

To finish off my card I added a simple sentiment from the fun "Simple Sentiments" stamp set!

Now, check out my fellow Design Team members...

Hey There Coffee Girl!

Happy Saturday everyone!  Welcome to the Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio!

I'm your hostess and today my challenge for you, is to choose one of these fun sketches to use.  Here they are...

Use the left sketch or the right!  It's your choice!  PLUS, don't forget, you can always rotate or flip-flop the sketch too!  Get creative!

For my second card today, I choose to use the sketch on the left.  I grabbed my "Hello Friend" stamp set and stamped one of the lovely ladies.  I paired with some coffee themed patterned paper and some fun clay stars to create a very simple interactive shaker card.

I also added a fun bold sentiment from the "Hello Friend" stamp set in matching mint ink.  I die cut the "hey" word using the corresponding die set, "Hello Friend Dies".

Now, check out my fellow designs use of these sketches...

Create a Scene

Howdy!  Happy Saturday!  Time for another Saturday Challenge with Three Room Studio!

This week we're CREATING A SCENE!

I chose to create a scene using the frogs and greenery from the "It's a Ponderful Life" stamps and a little fairy from the "Believe in Fairies" stamps.

I used my Copic Markers to colour in all my images and my back ground element.  I also added some Polychromos Pencils to get some finer details in a few places.

Psssstttt.... did you happen to notice a few things about my card?????  We have a few new TRS products headed your way next week!

NOW... check out what Jeannie Lieu has created to share with us today.

Three Room Studio's First Saturday Challenge!

Howdy!  Happy Saturday!  Come and join me over on the Three Room Studio blog today as we are debuting our brand new challenges!

I'm actually this week's hostess and I've chose this week's challenge to use this sketch...

For the background part of the sketch, I chose to make my own patterned paper.  I used most of the fun words from the "Yay!" stamp set plus a few added ones from the "Simple Sentiments" stamp set too! I added a few fluttering things from the "Believe in Fairies" in the little gaps in the pattern.  I love the way our fairy sits on our card front.

Here's a little close up of the fairy.  I added some clear glitter pen over top of her wings along with some of the wings of the little winged critters on the back ground.

Please take a gander at some of our fellow designer creations with today's challenge...

Together We Are Stronger

Good afternoon and happy Sunday!  For this week's challenge over at Three Room Studio, the Design Team have seen out to search the webs to find a card that they're going to CASE.

For me, I found this amazing card by Jess McAfee (@jess.mcafee) on Instagram seen HERE.

I chose to use the same stamp set, our FREE digital set called "You Matter to Me".  It's a beautiful stamp.

I chose to keep the same colour scheme and general design of her card for my own card.

For each lady's shirt I chose to decorate it with a fun mini stamp included in some of our other sets.  For the pink shirt I used the "steam for the coffee" from "I Heart Books".  For the teal stars, I used those from our "Believe in Fairies" set and for the purple shirt, I used the adorable little heart from the "Skate Sleep Repeat" stamp set.

I think it turned out fabulous!  What do you think?

See you again soon!

~ Ally ~

I Love You Mom!

Happy Sunday!  Today I'm sharing a fun card using the latest sketch from Three Room Studio.

I chose to use the pretty little "Mom's Hibiscus" stamp set for my card today.  i coloured it very simply with Copic Markers and fussy cut it out to add to my card.  The sweet sentiment is also included in this stamp set.  This stamp collection also includes Mom spelled like this "Mum" too.

This is the sketch I designed for this month (#trssketch06).  It includes lost of space to stamp a large image plus lots of fun strips to play with!

I'd love to see you join in our challenge fun!  Come and visit the Three Room Studio's Fourth Room and share your creation with us!  Or use the #trssketch06 on social media!

This week's challenge is to CASE a DT member.

I chose to CASE my fellow DT member, Samantha Farhang!  Here is her amazing card using the "It's a Ponderful Life"...

Here is my take on her beautiful card.

I chose to use the "Believe in Fairies" stamp set and lots of circles!

I hope you'll come and join us over on our Facebook page and play along!

A Manly Card

Happy Tuesday!

This week all of the Three Room Studio designers are sharing some fabulous masculine cards.

For my card I just HAD to use the adorable froggie (and grasses) from the "It's a Ponderful Life".  The little fishes and the sea shell are from the "Mermaid at Heart" and "Welcome Little One".  The sentiment is from the "Simple Sentiments" stamp set.

Here's a close up of the shaker aspect.  I used some dew drops, clear gems and clear and silver micro-beads inside.

To see more amazing masculine cards, come and check our Facebook page at Three Room Studio's Fourth Room.

I hope you like my card!

Mer-May is Here!

Happy Mer-May!  It's time for a fun mermaid card.

I used the gorgeous "Welcome Little One" stamp set from Three Room Studio for my card today.  This is a one-layer card!  Yup!  The 2 small fish, the shark and the mermaid are all stamped images.  The rest of the card was created by me; even the map!

It took me approximately 6.5 hours of colouring to finish!  It was a total labour of love!

To check out more amazing Three Room Studio creations, come and visit The Fourth Room Facebook page.

Have a great rest of the week!

Hibiscus Glory

Happy Monday!  I hope you are safe and healthy at home.

The newest Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio is out!  It’s all about flowers this week.

For my card, I have used the newest stamp released, the “Mom’s Hibiscus” mini stamp.

I carefully masked my hibiscus flowers straight down an edge.  I coloured them up with Copic Markers and then fussy cut along one edge and then layered it with a piece of thin striped black and white paper.

Make sure you come and check out the Three Room Studio’s Shop for all the newest stamps.  And don’t forget to take a gander in the Three Room Studio’s Fourth Room over on Facebook.

Thanks for dropping by!  Happy creating!

Sketchy Peach Coffee!

Come and join me over at the Three Room Studio’s Fourth Room page over on Facebook.  It’s a fun space to share all the Three Room Studio fun!

Every Saturday we have a brand new challenge for everyone to be inspired by.

The last three challenges were a colour palette challenge, a coffee challenge and a sketch challenge.

Our colour palette was a hue of peachy colours plus a soft green.  For my card, I used the “Awesome Coffee” cup image plus the wreath banner and foliage from the “Skate Sleep Repeat” stamp set.

For the coffee challenge, I wanted to use the “Awesome Coffee” stamp set of course!  Instead of making the coffee cup image an opaque cup, I chose to design it as a clear cup; hence the cold coffee with ice cubes.  I also used the shelf and books from the “I Heart Books” stamp set to enhance the back ground.

Our sketch, designed by yours truly, has lots of different panels. I used the “I Heart Books” stamp set and some of the images from the “One More Chapter” to include in some of the panels.

So come over to the Three Room Studio’s Fourth Room Facebook page and join in the fun!
