Merry Little Gift Box

Howdy all!  I hope you are all ready for Christmas!  I am not ready.. not by a long shot!

Spencer has a gift exchange at school today and he wanted to give a contain of Jelly Bellies candy.  So instead of hitting up the Dollar Store for a container, I decided to make one myself!

Here's the first of the four sides of my cute little festive box...

Little Golden Angel

Happy Saturday!  Today is the last Saturday Challenge over at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps for 2019!  Wow… where did this year go?!?

For this week’s challenge, it’s an Anything Goes Challenge!

So I pulled out the adorable “You Give Me Wings” stamp set with all the little fairies on it.  Now there’s one little fairy that looks like an angel so I thought she might make a sweet holiday card.

I made this card super simple too…

Thanks for joining me today!

Snowdrops & Tea Roses

Howdy!  Happy Friday the 13th! Today is a lucky day for me… it’s my Mom’s birthday!

Today I’m sharing two cards that I made using the Power Poppy’s “Snowdrop and Tea Roses” digital stamp.  I blew up this digital image and coloured it before cutting it into 2 pieces.

Here’s my first card…

And here’s the second…

Plus, who doesn’t love a card without sparkle…

Now check out what my fellow Bloomies have to share today…

Last Day of the 12 Krafty Days of Khristmas

Today’s the last day of the 12 Krafty Days of Khristmas on the Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps blog.

For my final card of the event, I wanted to use the beautiful “Snowflake Kisses” stamp set and some sparkling embossing powder.  So once I stamped the snowflake images using Versamark ink, added Kaleidoscope embossing powder and heat set it, I added a rainbow of inks.

I used Yummy Yellow, Pumpkin Patch, Ruby Red, Pink Pizzazz, Whimsical Wisteria, Sparkling Sapphire, Lovely Lagoon, Goblin Green and Charming Chartreuse.

Make sure you check out the 12 Krafty Days event.  You could win some Krafty Kimmie Kash!  Check it out HERE!

Welcome 2020!

Happy Thursday!  I’m Allison Cope your hostess today over on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog today.

Most of my Christmas cards are made and off in the mail already so I thought I’d skip ahead to New Years cards.

I thought the adorable “Baby on the Moon” reminded me of the New Years Baby so I thought he might make the perfect 2020 card.

I colored him up using Copic Markers and then added some shimmer and shine using “Confetti Sparkle” cardstock, some silver foil and some Liquid Pixie Dust.

To see the original GSD post, click HERE.

I think I’ll send this to my Mom or my sister this year! Thanks for stopping by!

Three Room Studio Winter Release!

Howdy everyone!  I’m so excited to share my first Three Room Studio release with you today!

For our Winter release we have 3 brand new stamp sets; “Skate, Sleep, Repeat”, “Welcome Winter” and last but not least, “Let’s Hygge”!

So let’s start off with “Let’s Hygge!”.  First off, what is “hygge” you ask?  Good question!

Hygge = a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture).

So my first card conveys comfort for sure…
I paper pieced the chair and ottoman so might look as if they have a fun fabric on them.

My second features the adorable cups from the stamp collection.

Next comes the “Welcome Winter” stamp set. It’s filled with the most adorable animals all out having fun in the snow!

Who can resist an adorable moose with skis and a bunny riding him like a race horse!!!!

And I have a card featuring that fun polar bear in the inner tube too!

And finally, we have “Skate, Sleep, Repeat”.  This stamp is very dear to my heart as I figured skated for the better part of my youth. The pose that our skater in the stamp set is in, is called an “Ina Bauer”.

Ina Bauer = element in figure skating in which a skater skates on two parallel blades. One foot is on a forward edge and the other leg is on a backwards and different parallel edge. ... If the leading leg is on the inside edge, the move is known as an inside ina bauer.

Now for the card first card using that skater…
In this stamp set there is a cool banner that wraps around so I took that and put my skater popping through the center of the foliage wrapped banner.  So cool!
I hope you enjoyed all my cards today!  Please check out the Three Room Studio Blog for more inspiration for the new Design Team.

All three stamps are already available for purchase in the Three Room Studio’s Shop!

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy stamping and creating!
