Three Room Studio ~ Doggie Spa Day!

Happy Friday! TodayI'm over on the Three Room Studio blog today where we're featuring the adorable "Doggie Spa Day" stamp set!  This adorable stamp set has 3 of the cutest pooches all ready for a s-paw day!

For my card I started by die cutting a piece of this cool "water vibe" patterned paper and stamped all kinds of little bubbles from the stamp set all over the background using Versamark ink.  Then I applied copper embossing powder and heat set it.

Next I cut some white cardstock circles and stamped my two little doggies from the "Doggie Spa Day" stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I then colored in all the furry parts of my puppies using Copic Markers.

I took both doggie stamps and stamped them on some cool green patterned paper pieces and fussy cut the blanket and the head wrap out of this green paper.  I glued all the pieces right over top of the white stamped puppies.... otherwise known as paper piecing!

There was a little bit more white space in the back ground of the puppy wrapped in the towel so I stamped the word "Friend" from the "Hello Friend" stamp set in the background.

For the greeting, I also stamped the word "Hello" from the "Hello Friend" stamp set and then die cut it with it's coordinating die, "Hello Friend Die"set. 

Here's a close up of the other cute puppy with the towel wrapped around her head.  I even added some Glaze pen to their noses and open eyes for that added bit of shine!

Blue Awesome Coffee

Happy Friday everyone!  Ally here for Feature Friday!

Today I wanted to share the adorable "Awesome Coffee" stamp set from Three Room Studios.

This fantastic 4x4 clear stamp set features that awesome coffee cup and lid, a few coffee sleeves, a ring of fun coffee beans, 4 individual coffee beans, 2 stars and a sentiment with the solid stamping shape.

I began my card by creating the background.  I inked rows of 5 different blue inked circles and added that fun ring of coffee beans in each row with the same ink color I had used on each circle.  I figured that coffee doesn't always have to be brown... right?!?!

Next I stamped the large coffee cup image and also ink blended it using just 3 darker blue inks on the coffee base.  I added some subtle star images across the surface and added some Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen to them once stamped.

I used some B Copics to colour in the lid to the coffee cup.

I stamped my sentiment backer image using 3 shades of blue ink again and then stamped the sentiment over top of the blue backer with black ink.

I adhered my sentiment to the coffee cup and then added some silver threads behind it and popped it on the card front with foam tape and with a few flashy silver confetti sequins, the card was complete!

Mermaid at Heart

Happy Friday everyone!  Today I'm over on the Three Room Studio blog with a fun Feature Friday!

Today is not only Christmas Eve but today is Three Room Studio's proud owner, Miss Sandy's BIRTHDAY!!! 

So as a tribute to our lovely Sandy, I created a fun birthday card featuring the "Mermaid at Heart" stamp set.

I stamped all of my images using Momento's "Rich Cocoa" ink and then coloured everything in with Copic Markers.  I also used a few Polychromos Pencils to add in some of the finer details too.

From Sandy and the rest of the amazing Three Room Studio's design team, Karen, Marilyn, Meghan, Candice, Pam, Kerri, Kim, Susan, Sheila and myself...

I Heart Books & Skate With Me!

Good morning!  I hope you have some crafty time planned for this weekend.  I'm over on the Three Room Studio blog today sharing our first Feature Friday!

I'm featuring the "I Heart Books" and "One More Chapter" stamp sets this week.  Here is my card...

If you look closely at the wall behind, I used some of the scripty sentiments from the "One More Chapter" stamp set.  I love their subtlety.
