Sweet November Stamps ~ Joyful Gatherings YouTube Hop

Today we’re kicking off a super fun Sweet November Stamps YouTube Hop to celebrate the brand-new Joyful Gatherings clear stamp release… and I’m joining in with a festive card featuring the absolutely adorable Wee Tree Trimmers set!

These little elves are busy decking out their Christmas tree, and I had the best time bringing their cheerful holiday energy to life.

✨ My Card for the Hop

For my project, I stamped all three of the sweet little elf characters around their beautifully decorated tree. Everything is colored up with Copic Markers, keeping the palette bright, bold, and full of Christmas joy.

To create the glowing background, I ink-blended Distress Oxide inks in warm yellows to mimic that magical holiday tree-light glow. I framed the panel with a fun torn-edge die cut and set the whole scene on top of a fresh green patterned paper to tie the colors together.

The sentiment “Christmas is love with all the trimmings” (also from the set!) finishes everything off perfectly.

🎁 Join the Hop!

The hop runs Sunday, November 16th through Wednesday, November 19th, and Sweet November is giving away one full clear stamp release set to a lucky winner! Make sure you hop along, watch the videos, comment, and show our designers some love for your chance to win.

Scrap'N Stamp ~ 3D Birthday Inspirational Hop **PRIZE**

Welcome to the Scrap 'N Stamp the 3D Birthday Inspiration Blog Hop!  Today's hop is all about sharing fun 3 dimensional birthday projects!

For my card today I'm using the very inventive die set from Lawn Fawn called the "Pivot Pop Up Die".

I began by stamping all of the critters from the My Favorite Things stamp set, "Pawty Time".  I colored all of the cats and puppies using Copic Markers and then fussy cut them out.

I die cut a scalloped rectangle of yellow polka dotted paper from the Catherine Pooler Designs "Poppin'" paper pack and then a few other pieces for the front of the card.

For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Lawn Fawn "Offset Sayings Everyday" stamp set and colored it in using the same rainbow of colored Copic Markers.

For the inside and the mechanism, I used the same patterned paper pack from Catherine Pooler plus a sentiment from the "Best Birthday Yet" stamp set in Party Dress pink ink.  I also used the same "Pawty Time" stamp set from My Favorite Tings to add the inside sentiment.

I love the "Pivot Pop Up" die's action!

Scrap'N Stamp ~ My Favorite Technique Hop *PRIZE*

Welcome to the Scrap 'N Stamp My Favorite Technique Blog Hop!  Today's hop is all about sharing our very favorite techniques for card making.

My very favorite technique as most of you can guess... is Copic Marker coloring.

Today's card features the adorable pair of kitties from My Favorite Things stamp set, "Hugs Make Everything Better".

I started by stamping my kitty image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This is my favorite black ink to use with Copic Markers.

The Copic colors I used include:

  • Orange Fur: YR20, YR21, YR24
  • Grey Fur: W3, W4, W6, W9
  • Ears: R22

I kept my coloring very simple today!

Next I die cut some black cardstock scalloped frames.  I included a die cut rectangle from the Prism Studio "Nested Stitched Rectangles" inside the smaller frame.

I die cut a vellum heart and glued it to the back of my kitties.

To create my background, I used the Lawn Fawn "Lots of Hearts" stencil.  There are 2 separate pieces to this background stencil.  I took the first panel and blended the pink Oxides from top to bottom; Picked raspberry Oxide to Festive Berries Oxide.  I took the second panel and blended the Mustard Seed Oxide into the Spiced Marmalade Oxide ink.

Then I took some Worn Lipstick Oxide and blended a light application from all 4 edges of my panel to a few inches towards the centre.

I used some bright gold paint from the Altenew Metallic Watercolor palette to splatter across the heart panel plus some black acrylic paint too.  To finish off the panel, I stamped a few of the mini stars from the My Favorite Things stamp set, "Hugs Make Everything Better" all across the panel.

Scrap 'n Stamp ~ Bags, Tags & Gift Wrap Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrap 'N Stamp Bags, Tags & Gift Wrap Blog Hop!

Today's hop is all about sharing some festive ideas for some bags, tags and gift wrap!

My card features the adorable "Christmas Minis" Thinlits from Sizzix!  This sweet little set contains 5 die cut shapes, snowman, Santa, gingerbread man, candy cane and holly berry plus it also includes a striped mini embossing folder (or a texture fade).

I started my little bag by stamping on some snowflakes from the Sweet November Stamps "Winter Reindeer Wishes" stamp set and the sentiments from the Jillibean Soup "Christmas Tags" stamp set in Catherine Pooler Sand Castle ink.

Next I cut a series of tags from the Hampton Arts "Birthday Banners" stamp & die set from a variety of fun patterned papers from the Echo Park "Winnie the Pooh Christmas" mega 6x6 pack of paper.

I grabbed all 5 die shapes from the Sizzix Thinlit & Texture Fade set called "Christmas Minis", and die cut them all out on white cardstock.

I used my Copic Markers to color in all of the cute layers of each die cut.  I matched the colors as well as I could to match the patterned papers.

After coloring all of the pieces, I adhered my little characters together and added them to a set of layered tags.  I used some of the candy canes and holly to decorate other tags.

Once the tags were complete, I adhered them to my kraft bag using some 3D foam to make them pop off the bag.

To finish off my bag, I added some White Gel Pen details to the characters eyes and icing details to the gingerbread men. I also took some white acrylic paint and splattered it across all the tags and the bag to mimic some snow.  The perfect touch!

Another cute bag to send something fun for Christmas!

Scrap 'N Stamp ~ Pooh & Friends Inspirational Hop **PRIZE**

Welcome to the Scrap 'N Stamp Pooh & Friends Inspirational Blog Hop!

Today's hop is all about the adorable Winnie the Pooh and friends!

My card features the adorable "Piglet Eeyore Tree" stamp set from Impression Obsession!

I began today's card by stamping the sweet image on some water color cardstock using my Distress Vintage Photo ink.  Yup... regular water based Distress ink!

I then proceeded to watercolor this image with Catherine Pooler inks: Do-si-do, Sage, Stone Blue and Catching Rays.  The cool thing about stamping an image with water based inks is that is blends into your paint with has a cool effect on your images.  I then fussy cut out the image.

Next I cut the orange with red chevron patterned paper from the "Winnie the Pooh" 6x6 patterned paper pack for my card base.  I also used my Tonic Deckle Edge Trimmer to cut a piece of blue tone-on-tone patterned paper from the same paper pack.  I added some machine stitching before adhering it to the card.

To finish off the card, I tied some twine around the end of the card base, added a stamped sentiment from the "Piglet Eeyore Tree" stamp set and for that final touch, I added some Craft Consortium "Adhesive Pearl Stars".

It turned out super cute!

Scrap 'N Stamp ~ Lavinia Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrap 'N Stamp Lavinia Magic Blog Hop!

Today's hop is all about the beautiful stamp company of Lavinia!  This company specializes in stamp sets that are silhouette images.

I chose to feature the adorable fairy "Lumus Small".  To create my scene I also used the "Cherry Blossom Tree", the "Shadow Bloom", the "Nigella Damascena" and finally the "Gyp" stamp sets.

To create the background I began by creating my colored base.  I ink blended the following Distress Oxide ink colors from top to bottom: Chipped Sapphire, Prize Ribbon, Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, Speckled Egg, Crushed Olive to finally the Forest Moss color.  I did apply some Black Soot ink to all 4 corners when I was done.

I splattered about of water across the background to create a water droplet effect.

Then I created a moon mask and used some white ink and paint to create the moon.  I added it right over top of the blue of the sky so the moon has a little bit of blue tint to it.
