There's a little magic in the moonlight tonight! 🌙✨ Today I'm sharing an adorable Halloween card featuring the sweetest little witch from the "Falling Under a Spell" release from Sweet November Stamps! Meet "Witchy Enid", a darling little gal who's enjoying a beautiful moonlit evening with her two precious fur-babies. Seriously, could these three be any cuter?!
I just LOVE creating Halloween cards with bright, playful colors, and this sweet little scene was the perfect opportunity to have some fun with my Copic Markers!
I started by stamping Witchy Enid and her adorable kitty companions onto my cardstock. Once everything was stamped, I carefully masked off all my images so I could get to work creating that fabulous nighttime background.
Next, I masked off a large circle for my glowing full moon. Then it was time to bring out one of my favorite crafty tools—my Copic Marker Airbrush System! I airbrushed a beautiful blend of rich blues around the moon, keeping the area closest to the moonlight soft and bright while deepening the colors toward the edges of my panel. I just LOVE how the airbrushing creates that smooth, dreamy nighttime sky!
Once I was happy with my background, I removed all my masks to reveal my little witch and her furry friends. This is always one of my favorite parts of creating a masked scene!
Then came the really fun part... COLORING! 💜
I grabbed my Copic Markers and had an absolute ball bringing Witchy Enid to life with some fun, bright Halloween colors! I chose vibrant pinks for her fabulous witchy hat and dress, cheerful oranges for her cozy sleeves and shoes, and warm browns for her adorable pigtails. Of course, her two little kitty companions needed some love too! One is a sweet dark kitty nestled in her arms, while the other is a tiny spotted cutie sitting nearby.
I just adore how those bright colors POP against the deep blue moonlit sky!
To finish off my card, I die cut my completed scene using a stitched rectangle die and layered it over some super fun orange Halloween patterned paper covered in little black spiders. Isn't that spider print just the perfect finishing touch?! The sweet "It's spooky season" sentiment ties everything together beautifully!
This little Halloween cutie was sent off to a family member to deliver a little handmade Halloween happiness! I sure hope it brought a big smile when it arrived in their mailbox.
If you haven't checked out the "Falling Under a Spell" release from Sweet November Stamps, you're in for a treat! There are so many adorable new characters just waiting to be colored up and turned into something magical!
Happy coloring and happy haunting! 🎃🐈💜
