Three Room Studio Winter Release!

Howdy everyone!  I’m so excited to share my first Three Room Studio release with you today!

For our Winter release we have 3 brand new stamp sets; “Skate, Sleep, Repeat”, “Welcome Winter” and last but not least, “Let’s Hygge”!

So let’s start off with “Let’s Hygge!”.  First off, what is “hygge” you ask?  Good question!

Hygge = a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture). 

So my first card conveys comfort for sure…

I paper pieced the chair and ottoman so might look as if they have a fun fabric on them.

My second features the adorable cups from the stamp collection.

Next comes the “Welcome Winter” stamp set. It’s filled with the most adorable animals all out having fun in the snow!

Who can resist an adorable moose with skis and a bunny riding him like a race horse!!!!

And I have a card featuring that fun polar bear in the inner tube too!

And finally, we have “Skate, Sleep, Repeat”.  This stamp is very dear to my heart as I figured skated for the better part of my youth. The pose that our skater in the stamp set is in, is called an “Ina Bauer”.

Ina Bauer = element in figure skating in which a skater skates on two parallel blades. One foot is on a forward edge and the other leg is on a backwards and different parallel edge. ... If the leading leg is on the inside edge, the move is known as an inside ina bauer.

Now for the card first card using that skater…

In this stamp set there is a cool banner that wraps around so I took that and put my skater popping through the center of the foliage wrapped banner.  So cool!
