Sweet Sentiment ~ Hexagon Greetings

Good afternoon!  Today is release day over at Sweet Sentiment!

The second stamp set that I designed with was the gorgeous "Playful Poinsettia" stamp set and it's a stunner!

This beautiful stamp set has 2 different sized poinsettia flowers, a single floral center, 2 leaves, a pretty snowflake and some greetings.

For today's creation, I stamped my poinsettia flowers with Versamark ink and added gold embossing powder and heat set it.

Next I took my Karin Markers and added the deep rich color into the center and backdrop.

Then I added marker into the flowers and had a ball with vibrant greens and deep red inks.

And another festive close up of my card....

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you're gettin' crafty this weekend!

Sweet Sentiment ~ Just Because Daisies

Happy Saturday all!  We have officially started summer here in our household this week as my teenager wrote his last exam.

Today I'm sharing a fun card I whipped up the other day.  It features the beautiful daisies from the "With Great Love" stamp set from Sweet Sentiment.

I started today's card by creating a "marble" effect using my Karin Markers.   I used some gold inks to bleed into the background as well as as added some veining too.

I used the beautiful "crop circles image" from the "Tropical Flora" stamp set with gold embossing powder to lay my triangular spray of florals.

For the triangle image, I first stamped it on some Sweet Sentiment Premium Coloring Cardstock using Memento "Desert Sand" ink.  I then colored it all using Copic Markers.  Once that was colored, I stamped it again and added gold embossing powder over top to match the back drop of the card front.

This week, in honor of our Sweet Sentiment Stamps & Friends Facebook 1000 member milestone, we would like you to "Show Us the Sweets!" We want to see ANY project that you made using Sweet Sentiment Stamps products! Only one entry per participant, must be a project created for this contest. Sweet Sentiment ~ June Release ~ Sentimental Susan

Happy Saturday everyone!  Today is the June release day over at Sweet Sentiment!

Today I'm showcasing the brand new "Sentimental Susan" stamp set!  This gorgeous stamp set is part of Sweet Sentiments 3D blooms stamp set series!

For my card, I started with a piece of Strathmore Watercolor paper and some Versafine Black Onyx ink.  I stamped a variety of the fun blooms and leaves and my sentiment in the middle.

I used my Karin Markers to watercolor in my blooms and leaves.  I wanted the colors to bleed outside of the lines and be nice and loose.

To add a subtle touch, I took some Grey Flannel ink from Momento to add a subtle kiss of that cool "spirograph" type image... so cool!

I added a little gold splatter to finish off my card plus some very fine Copic Multi-liner lines to frame out the card!

Stay tuned for another release card later this afternoon!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Rainbow Bon Jour!

Happy Friday everyone!

Today I'm sharing a fun project featuring Stamp Anniething!

To begin today's card, I first created a pool of water on my watercolor paper and then dropped in each of my 6 inks from my Karin Markers to create the rainbow splotch.  I also added my gold splatters over top of the splotch.

Then I stamped out my "Kelly - Merci Beaucoup" image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with Copic Markers.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  I hope you go and get crafty!

Three Room Studio ~ Splish! Splash!

Happy Saturday everyone! It's time for another fun Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio.

This week our challenge is to create a card with a WATER THEME.  Now that theme can be interpreted in a few different ways!  You can create a water theme like a pond or aquarium but you could also use water to create a background like using watercolors.  The idea is to have fun!

I started by creating a watery background for my card by using a variety of Karin markers first.  Then I stamped out my images from the "Mermaid at Heart" stamp set with Desert Sand Memento ink.  I coloured all my images using Copic Markers and then I fussy cut them all out.

Here's a little close up of all my little sea creatures...

Now, make sure to check out my fellow Design Team members...

Now it's your turn!!  Check out all the details on the post below.

Good luck!

Pawsome Stamps ~ Cupcake Season's Greetings

Happy Tuesday!  Today I'm sharing a fun watercolor card using some fun new products from Pawsome Stamps!

A little while ago, I shared this on my Instagram for our festive holiday hop for Pawsome Stamps but I forgot to share here too!

I just love the watercolor effect of this card.  I've used the beautiful "Deck the Halls" stamp set for my background, the "Just Sentiments: Christmas" for my greeting and "Jolly Cupcakes" for my cupcake image.

Believe it or not, but this is how this card started (see below!) and I thought it really wasn't quite finished...

So I added the sweet little holly cupcake.  For my card, I used my Karin Markers to ink everything up.  And did you notice, those clear but super sparkly snowflakes in there?  I used some Nuvo Glimmer Paste with the beautiful "Snowflake Flurries Stencil".

Don't you just love that little cupcake?

Thanks for stopping by!

Friends are Like Seashells

Happy Saturday all!  It's my turn to act as hostess for the Saturday Challenge over at Three Room Studio today.

I chose to have a sketch challenge this week for you!  Don't forget you can flip flop the sketch or rotate it!

For my card today I chose to rotate it 180 degrees!  I grabbed my "Mermaid at Heart" stamp set and my brand new Karin Brushmarkers and coloured up the mermaid and her cute shell!

I even stamped the vellum paper with all the little shells and critters and embossed it with shimmery embossing powder! I created the background by just dabbing a few Karin Markers over the cardstock then blending the doodles with water.

Take a moment and visit my fellow designers and check out what they did with the sketch...

Now it's your turn to play along!  Use my sketch seen above and enter in your project over on the TRS Blog.

Good luck!
