TGIF! Today's card just fills me with joy! Not only do I love that amazing blended die ct back ground but I love the way Catherine Pooler inks act like gorgeous watercolors!
I used my Gelli plate to get this beautiful blend of Autumn ink colours across my cardstock. I dabbed my ink pads directly on the Gelli plate, softened the ink pad edges left on the surface with my CP Blending Brushes and then laid down my cardstock panel. I layered and layered on the inks to get a smooth blend across the paper... and it looks SO good! I cut this Autumn inky panel with the new "Sitting Pretty Slimline Die" and matted it with a Merlot inked circle die cut.
I also love the added touch of the fun gold thread with the touches of Oak City gold sequins tucked here and there.
