Catherine Pooler ~ Slip, Sledding Away!

It's almost time to shop the newest release from Catherine Pooler Designs!  The Snow-rific Birthday release will be in the shop on Wednesday October 12th at 9am ET.  BUT if you're a StampNation member, you get to shop one day early!!!  You can shop at 12 noon ET on Tuesday!  Just another fun perk of being a StampNation member!

Today I'm sharing one of my most favorite type of cards... an interactive card!

So I started by making a card base using the "Notecard Layers Die" and then adding a piece of the adorable little snowman paper from the "Snow Day" paper pack. 

Next I stamped and colored the sweet snowman and sled from the "Snow-rific Party" stamp set and die cut it out with it's coordination dies.  I colored everything with Copic Markers. I adhered the snowman to the sled.

Next I die cut a snowy base and stamped on the sentiment using Rockin' Red ink.

Next I used a penny and created a lever on the back of the snowman.  This allows the snowman to travel down the slope of the hill.

I popped the snowman lever on the card and trapped the mechanism in using foam tape.

And voila... the snowman sleds down the hill!
