TGIF! Today is Day 2 of the Sneak Peeks for the newest Catherine Pooler Designs release! This release is called Snow-rific Birthday! This release is right up my alley because my sister, my Mom and a few of my cousins are all born in the winter months!
Today's card features products from the Snow Day Bundle. This bundle includes:
- Snow-rific Party Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies
- Snow Many Flakes Dies
- Frosted Window Die
- Snow Day Birthday 6x6 Patterned Paper Pack
I began by covering my card base with a fun snowflake patterned paper from the new "Snow Day" patterned paper pack.
Then I 2 strips of paper smaller than the height of my A2 sized card using the "Melon Edge Dies". This makes it appear like they're clouds. I inked up the larger cloud with some Something Borrowed ink using my Blending Brushes. I adhered these cloud shapes on to card with a messy nest of silver thread underneath.
Next I stamped one of the cute little snowmen from the "Snow-rific Party" stamp set with some Oh Boy! and blended Something Borrowed inks. I die cut the letters needed to complete the word "Snow-rific" (minus the O) from the "Slim Alphabet Dies" and inked them with a blend of Oh Boy! and Something Borrowed inks too!
I finished it off by stamping out the remainder of the sentiment from the "Snow-rific Party" stamp set and adhered it to my card.
Stay tuned as I have a whole bunch more of snowy birthday inspiration coming!
Don't forget to check out all the snow fun festivities over the next week:
