Sweet Sentiment ~ Affable Anemone

Happy Thursday!  Today I'm sharing another fun card creation from Sweet Sentiment!

Today I created this simple but pretty sympathy card featuring the newly released "Affable Anemone" stamp set.  This stamp set also has a coordinating Sweet Slice Die as well.

I started by stamping my greenery images below and above the hand drawn black lines.  I coloured them in with Copic Markers.

Next I stamped the 2 Anemone images on a separate piece of Sweet Sentiment Premium Coloring Cardstock (this cardstock has built-in sparkle to it!!!) and colored them in with peachy Copics.  I fussy cut each of the florals out.  Then I used a stylus tool and shaped each layer up. I then using some foam adhesive to maintain the cupping of the blooms and added them to the card front.

I also added some simple gold splatters across the center panel of the card for some sparkle!

Oh So Good ~ A Cuppa Love

Today is Day 2 of the Catherine Pooler Designs "All Things Fall" release sneak peeks!

Today I 'm using the cool "Fall Call for Lattes" stamp and die set, along with the cool "Oh So Good Word Dies", the new "Perfection Stencil" and a whole lotta of our new neutral inks!!

I started by creating my stencilled background.  I used Buttercream, Ginger, Spiced and Macchiato inks and then blended a further layer of just Buttercream ink when I shifted my stencil.

Next I stamped out the cute apple cup twice using S'Mores ink.  I die cut the cup using the "Fall Calls for Lattes Die". The second cup I inked up with a quick swipe of Ginger then Spiced inks across the lid and cup cover - then I fussy cut them out and adhered them to the original cup inked with Buttercream ink.

To create the striped band, I used the long cinnamon stick stamp and created my own pattern with S'Mores ink again,

I die cut the "So Good" greeting from two pieces of cardstock: one a blend of Ginger and Spiced ink and the other from pure S'Mores ink.  This is from the "Oh So Good Word Die".

This created such a warm and invited card!  I can see adding a delicious coffee card inside for someone special!

Stamp Anniething ~ Have an EGGcellent Day!

Tonight was my Copic Creativity with Ally monthly episode over on the Stamp Anniething Facebook group!

My card tonight featured the adorable digital image "Happy Birthday Chick" - a sweet little farmer girl and her chickens!  I used the must-have "Cloud Builder Stencil" to create a soft cloudy sky and then cut out my card panel using my favorite die, the "Card Mat Builder Dies".

I used my Copic Air Brush System to make the soft blue sky and green grassy area.

Catherine Pooler ~ "All Things Fall" Is Coming!

Over on the Catherine Pooler Facebook group, Erika has revealed the first few products going live in the Catherine Pooler Designs Shop next Wednesday... it's our "All Things Fall" release!!!

For our mini bundles, today we're sharing the adorable "Lattes & Leaves Bundle".  This bundle features the amazing "Fall Calls for Lattes Stamp Set", it's coordinating die set, the beautiful "Blowing Leaves Background" stamp and the cool "Oh So Good Word Dies".

I began my card today by stamping and masking all those AH-mazing coffee mugs from the "Fall Calls for Lattes Stamp Set" with Macchiato ink.  Before removing my masks, I inked up the ornate "Blowing Leaves Background" stamp using first Buttercream, then some Apricot, then a hint of Ginger ink to make a some leafy background.

I splattered the leafy backdrop with some Macchiato ink and some Gansai Tambi "Starry Nights" Blue-Gold ink and then stamped the greeting in Terracotta ink.

I colored all the cups using Copic Markers: (all markers available in the CP Shop!)

• browns: E11, E13, E23, E25, E18, E29/ E70, E71, E74
• yellows/oranges: Y35, Y38, YR07
• pink/reds: R20, R24, R27
• green: G24, G21

Horn of Plenty ~ A FREEBIE for Being a StampNation Member!

I made another fun card featuring this super cute new stamp set for Thanksgiving!  Since Canadians celebrate a whole month in advance of the US, we make our cards a little earlier!

I made a cute little swag wreath using all the little greenery stamps from the "Horn of Plenty" stamp set.  I stamped them all in Over Coffee ink and colored them in with Copic Markers.

I mounted them on a die circle using the "Round About Dies" backed with some beautiful Terracotta ink.  I created a sleek Terracotta border for the panel and made my own patterned paper with Sand Castle ink.

The simple sentiment was stamped using Cranberry Fizz and Terracotta ink with a soft Matcha ink back drop.

Catherine Pooler ~ StampNation Members Have PERKS!

I die cut the beautiful "Petal Connection Cover Plate" die and used some thread to embroider the back ground and mounted a Terracotta inked frame from the "Notecard Frame & Tag Die" set. 

I stamped the horn of plenty image using Over Coffee ink and colored it in using Copic Markers.

Here are the two mini slimline cards that I created on our live together.

I used the adorable "Tula & Norbert's Christmas Party Ugly Sweater Party" stamp set, coordinating die and cute 6x6 patterned paper pack from PhotoPlay to create both cards!

I coloured in the stamped sweaters using Copic Markers (all listed below) and I die cut the second card's sweaters straight from patterned papers.  Both were so much fun to create!

Catherine Pooler ~ Ink Swatch Inspired!

 

Last week Catherine Pooler Designs released their amazing Ink Swatching products!

Today I'm here to share a few cards I made using inspiration from a few of my swatched inks plus I'm also sharing some brand new products into the shop today.

So my first card began by die cutting the "Mod Strips Cover Plate Die" from CP Premium White Cardstock and inking up each of the different strips with the 6 inks from our triad.

I attached all the strips to a thin cardstock paper and then die cut the whole thing using the largest stitched die from the "Postage Stamp Dies" and then added a white cardstock die cut using the largest postal-edged die.

Then I die cut the "Hey Word Dies" from white cardstock and used my Copic Markers to color the thinner lined die. I also die cut the letters for the word FRIEND from the new "Slim Alphabet Dies" a few times and adhered them both on.

Copics: V01, V04, V06, Y15, Y17, Y38, BG000, BG01, BG02

I just love how this card turned out...

Next I took that same triad color scheme and created a fun card featuring one of the cool new patterned papers from the "Two-Toned Gray" paper pack.

The moth is from the "Night in Flight" stamp set, the circular tag is from the "Scallop Tag Duo Dies" and the hello word is from the "Hello Trio Dies".  I also stamped a little tiny bit of the "Filigree Background Stamp" in Twilight ink.  I filled my shaker with a wide variety of fun CP sequins!

I used all 9 of the same Copic Markers to color in the sentiment and also the moth.

I love end result of both of these Triad color scheme!  I hope one or both of them inspire you to create something fun and colorful too!

Sweet Sentiment ~ Home Is Where The Herd Is!

Howdy and Happy Monday!  I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!

Today I'm sharing a very simple CAS card today!  I always find it very challenging to make a CAS style card so I wanted to do that today.

This card features the brand new "Farm Life" stamp set from Sweet Sentiment... just released this past Saturday.

I began by stamping my little gardener and the card's sentiment using Memento "Tuxedo Black" ink.

Then I colored her in using Copic Markers.

• Skin: E13, E34, E31, E00, R20
• Jeans: B99, B97, B95, B93
• Shirt/Boots/Glove: RV14, RV13, RV11

Isn't she adorable?!?!

I added my panel to a fun pink gingham and my card was complete!  So easy-peasy!
