Amaryllis... Not Just for the Holidays!

I just love it when you can use a stamp for multiple occasions don’t you?  I have a few birthday cards to make so I thought I would use the new “Amaryllis Bliss” stamp set and it’s coordinating dies today from Power Poppy.

I grabbed only a few Copic Markers and some Polychromos Pencils and colored in each of the triple cluster of blooms.

I first started with the dark red Amaryllis…

I created a very abstract back ground to put my blooms on with a few sequins and some gold thread.

Then I decided to color a pinky-plum colored one…

And I too made an abstract back ground to place it on with some sequins.

Christine Okken go here next!

I hope you too get a chance to create some thing fun and festive this weekend!  Happy creating!

Oh Ally! These are beautiful! The delicate coloring on the petals and then the splash of vibrant background is so striking!

Wow, Ally, I am WAY behind, but I didn't realize how far I was. Going through my mailbox from the bottom up. Haha! Anyway, I absolutely love these cards and think you are so amazing. Such beautiful colors and wonderful ways to use these amaryllis. We have a dear friend who has them in her yard now (in the summer), and they are stunning. Inspiring me now! Hugs and love! xoxo
