Power Poppy: Creating a Tablescape

Happy Friday everyone!  It’s time for another fun Power Poppy creation.  Today’s card was inspired by a challenge over at StampNation. Every few weeks for the past few months a new Christmas card challenge has been posted.  Themes from sweet treats to religious, to wreaths and knit patterns were posted to inspire.

My card today was inspired by the challenge to use the Tablescapes mood board.

So I grabbed the brand new clear stamp set, “Under Glass: Christmas Traditions” and stamped out the Santa and reindeer under glass and then used the “Bottlebrush Holiday” stamp set to round out the back ground of my faux tablescape.  I think it turned out rather cute myself!  LOL!
Copics: G000, G00, G21, G24, YG17, G28, G85, E11, E13, E15, E18, R83, R85, BG72, R32, R35, W1, C4, T2, T6, T9

I was sure to add lots of glittery sparkle to this card too!

Now's the time to go and check out what my fellow Bloomies have been up to....

Power Poppy: Forest Finds

Howdy all!  Happy Sunday!  Today I’m joining in on one of Power Poppy’s digital reveals so I’m joining some of the Instant Gardeners today.

Introducing… Forest Finds!

This little digital cluster is a special ornament grouping!  A vintage pinecone, tiny pumpkin, and pomegranate ornament are arranged among poinsettia leaves and a berry-bedecked twig. Color this illustration for a simple, sweet, and quite unique way to wish your friends and family a warm and wonderful holiday season.  This digi set also includes 2 holiday greetings.

I had a hard time creating this card.  The colouring was easy but getting to the final card was a struggle for some odd reason.  It actually has quite a few flicks of purple throughout (and in the plaid paper), hence the dark purple card base colour.  So here she is...

 Copics: YG0000, YG01, Y11, YR00, YR12, YR16, R14, R37, R39, V01, V04, V05, V91 + Prismacolor Pencils

I used the “Holly Golightly” stamp set to add a simple sentiment to the bottom of my card.

And fancy Christmas tree ornaments just wouldn’t be the same with out some faux snow and glitter!

So join me and the other designers that have created to share with you today…

Power Poppy: A Little Portion Control

Howdy!!  TGIF everyone! I hope you all have creative plans for this weekend.  I’m off on a snowshoeing hike with my Scouts on Sunday to hunt for a future Christmas tree.  Yes… I said snowshoeing. We got our first good blast of winter yesterday and it’s supposed to continue all day today too!

So being in winter mood, I thought I’d make another card for my holiday card stash.  I never seem to have quite enough made by the time I need to address and send them out.  So here we go…

I used the detailed and delicate “Glistening Paperwhites” stamp set by Power Poppy for both the image and sentiment.  I decided to add a few touches of gold to match the printed “Falala” paper.
 Copics: BG90, BG11, BG32, BG18, R81, R83, R85, R24, YG61, YG63, TG03, YG01

My card today also follows this month’s Power & Spark Challenge for November.  This month it’s all about using partial stamp images.  It’s a simple as that!  I can’t wait to see what you create!  For challenge details and rules, please click here. By participating, you could win a $50 shopping spree in the Power Poppy Shop!

Take a few moments and check out what my fellow talented Bloom Brigaders have created for you today…
