Seaside Wishes

Happy Friday all!  I hope you have lots of crafty endeavors panned for the weekend.  Here in Canada it is the May 2-4 weekend so my son actually has today and Monday off of school.

Over at StampNation, I frequently participate in the PenPal card swap. You sign up and send a monthly-themed card to the address you are assigned.  This month we have 4 themes to choose from; one being a beach theme.  So I chose the seaside themed stamp from the “Under Glass” stamp set by Power Poppy.  I also so stamped out some smaller tropical leaves from the “Big Sexy Leaves” stamp set to add to the back ground.

This weekend, Marcella has another amazing Stamp Steal going on!  This weekend you can purchase the “Orchids Rock” and their digital counterparts, “Lady Slipper Orchid” and “Orchid Cascade”.  Happy shopping!

Now, join some of the Bloomies with some fun card creations…

Don’t forget to participate in this week’s Creative Confetti Challenge by Julie.  It’s an awesome one this week!

Thanks for joining me!  I hope you have a great weekend!

Krafty Lilacs

Happy Friday all!  It’s time for another SALE over at Power Poppy!

This weekend we are featuring the amazing “Lilac Time” clear stamp set and the 2 digital stamp sets “French Lilac” and “Lilacs and Lemons”.  See HERE for more info!!!

I chose to get out some kraft cardstock today and use my Polychromos Pencils to colour up the amazing “Lilac Time” stamp.

I also created my simple colourful plaid back ground using the fun stripe elements from the “Snuggle Down” stamp set.  Isn’t it a cute pop of colour?

Happy Friday all!  I hope you’ve had an amazing week so far!  Happy first day of February!

Today I’m featuring a card using this week’s sketch from Splitcoaststampers.  Click here for the sketch. I chose to use a variety of different Power Poppy stamp sets and create a fun one-layer-card… yes… it’s one layer!

One right side I used the “My English Rose” stamp set.  One the left side I used the “Bee Kind Toile” and the “Always Here” stamp set for my greeting.

Before you go a-hopping, Marcy has a weekend stamp steal for you!  Check this out!
