WeScrap "Whimsy" Reveal - Part 1

I was away for 2 weeks from home so I didn't get a chance to play with my NEW WeScrap kit "Whimsy" until I got home on Sunday.

This kit is JAMMED packed full of gorgeous girlie papers, LOTS of alphabets and some fun and fabulous embellishments!! To see the complete list of kit contents, click here.

It retails for a CHEAP price of only $19.99!!! ***For a limited time only, WeScrap is giving away a FREE GIFT with every purchase!***

So I thought I show you a few of the fun things I created using this beautiful kit today.

Grown in Love

I created layers of punched edge patterned papers and made them like little pockets to stick my photos of my son growing up.

I also made another card...

Happy Birthday "J"

I die cut the heart out of the piece of patterned papers and then I covered the heart shape with a variety of different "birthday" related word stickers from the kit. This kit has FOUR different alphabet sets in it... they are all different and beautiful!

Stay tuned tomorrow as I reveal the rest of my "Whimsy" kit creations! You won't want to miss it!

Hoppy Tuesday!

It's SO good to be back at my desk after 2 weeks away. It feels good to create again.

Yesterday I was sitting down looking for some card inspiration so I hopped on over to the Mojo Monday blog and I found this gorgeous card sketch... PERFECT!

And here's the card I made using this week's sketch...

Bunny Hugs

I even made it interactive! The little flap at the front lifts up to show the entire bunny image from the Inky Antics stamp set, "Bunny #2"... which I paper pieced using the new Whimsy kit from WeScrap!!!

You just LOVE this kit... it's SO girlie and can I tell ya... there are a TON of alphabet stickers in this puppy... It's a "TO DIE FOR" kit for sure!

Stay tuned tomorrow as I show what other creations I made using this beautiful kit!

Scrapbooker's Paradise Challenge #11

Yippee! TGIF everyone!

This week's challenge over at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog is all about buttons!! Yup! Something I admit I have very few of in my stash... I know!!! Shocker huh!!??

Here's the card I created using a funky button I found in my stash:

BLACK SILK
I started by creating my card using some COOL new papers by Hot Off the Press; Color Me. These papers begin with a gold embossed image on a white cardstock background. I carefully painted my gold embossed papers with some shimmery black and teal paint to highlight the colour of my cute little button. The paper now looks like silk... hence the name of my card!

I layered my button with some Prima Summer Lovely Leaves to make it pop. I used the beautiful Spellbinder Fleur de Lis Doily Accents die cut as my back drop to put it on.

My card is just your standard card this week! It actually opens on the front and has a panel for your hand writing. Something a little different from the norm...

Come on and out and play along with the Scrapbooker's Paradise Challenge team this week and you could win two Stampavie stamp sets, retail value at over $20.00!!!

Howdy everyone! Happy Friday!

This week's challenge over at Scrapbooker's Paradise Carla has asked us to use this iTunes advertisement as our inspiration this week...

Here's the card I created using the ad as my inspiration...

Herbs
I used some beautiful stamps by Flourishes called "Fine Herbs". I used my Memento Tuxedo Black pad as my ink. I used the Spellbinder Fleur De Lis Doily Motifs Shapeabilities die set to create my ornate bright doily shapes.

I also used a fun embossing folder by Cuttlebug to add some fun texture to my black panels.

Come along and play along with us this week and you could WIN! Our prize this week is Reminisce stickers and chipboard from the new movies line ~ retailed over $10.00!! Good luck!
