Vellum Birthday Blooms

Happy Saturday! It's time for another fun Saturday Challenge over at Three Room Studio.

This week's challenge is to use VELLUM.  Yup!  It's that simple!

I began my card by stamping the fairy from "Believe in Fairies" and the Hibiscus flowers from "Mom's Hibiscus" stamp sets. I coloured them each up using Copic Markers and Polychromos Pencils and die cut them all out using their coordinating dies.

I masked off a fun shaped back ground on my card panel and inked it up in Chiffon, Bellini and Samba inks.

I then die cut a hexagon of vellum and inked up the edges of it with Veramark ink and sprinkling it with gold embossing powder and heat set it.  I also stamped the sentiment, also from the "Believe in Fairies" stamp set and gold embossed it.

I layered all of my blooms, fairy and vellum up and added it to the front of the card along with some cute stars and a layer of gold cardstock.

Now, please take a moment to check out my fellow designers creations for today's challenge:
