Today we’re revealing the delicate “Camellia”!
Marcella has illustrated this stunning bloom and here’s what she’s said about this beauty..
"Jewels of the winter greenhouse, stars of Southern gardens, and the state flower of Alabama, Camellias are a symbol of passion, desire and refinement. I was inspired by the Camellias from the gorgeous collection at the Linnean House at the Missouri Botanical Garden."
For my card creation today, I wanted to keep it super simple and a single layer card!
I was inspired by a “candy cane” looking version of the bloom today…

Oh, Ally, this is gorgeous! You've really made these camellias beautiful with the candy stripes and the warm background! I love the single layer with the fine line! Stunning! Warm hugs, sweet friend!
I love camellias. You did a great job with this! I love the inking you did on the background.
Awww, Ally....I love your variegated blooms! Your coloring is gorgeous (as always) and the line edge detail really adds such a nice touch to your already beautiful one layer card.....how on earth did you get that much detail in a single layer?! Girl, you never cease to amaze!
LOVE the striped version of your flowers! Gorgeous one layer card!
Stunning colouring, stunning card, love it.
Beautiful!!
Oh My Word - Ally, this is just so gorgeous!!! Love how you've used this digi stamp and the striped camellias are stunning!!
Oh, I just love these. Ally, you did such a great job of capturing that striped look some of them have. I am so glad this is a digital and I know I will be tempted to get this one for sure now.
You gave this such a lovely rich earthy feel. I love the framing lines with the pen too. Perfect touch!
Totally in love with this stamp <3
Ally, I came by last night but my internet went out right when I posted my comment. Of course, I was gushing and sputtering all over the place because this is just so breathtakingly beautiful. The camillias are so perfectly set off by by your warm background and the simple line frame. Love that pink peppermint/candy cane coloring. Think I've got Christmas on the brain? Maybe it's just my sweet tooth. I was just telling Christine that her camillias made me think of divinity.
Love these Southern beauties! You have such wonderful talent and the new set is fabulous.
Love your card it is very beautiful.
