Sweet November Stamps ~ Mixing Up some Christmas Magic

Happy Hump Day!  Today I'm sharing a fun and cheery Christmas card featuring some stamps from Sweet November Stamps!

Today's card features the adorable Wee's from the new stamp set "Sugar and Spice".  This stamp set contains a LOT of cute images all featured around a baking theme... a flour bag, bowls, measuring utensils and cute little baking Wees!!

I wanted to make my own baking themed patterned paper so I stamped all of the sweet little baking items all over my panel.  I colored all of my images in using Copic Markers and then I colored in the background with a few shades of blue Copics.

 

I think it turned out cute!

Craft Roulette ~ Here Comes Santa Claus!

Howdy!!  Hope you're having a great weekend!  Today's card is this week's entry for Craft Roulette.  This will be my Club 52 submission!

The four parameters that the wheel gave us this week were:

• Project: Drop Down (My Santa drops down from the chimney)
  
• Colors: Supper Table (Wood table with Christmas runner colors)
  
• Element: Season(s) (Christmas season!)
  
• Random: Shiny (Shiny gold paint on the buckle & stars)
  

So this week's card features some of the new stamp sets from Sweet November Stamps!

I started by stamping my scene with the stone flooring from the "Background Builder: Halloween Room".

Then I masked off a rectangle for the fireplace and stamped the brick wall image also from the "Background Builder: Halloween Room".

I drew in the details of the fireplace and began coloring.  I also stamped the Santa image from the new "Cup of Cheer" stamp set, colored him with Copic Markers and then fussy cut him out.

Once the scene was done, I stamped my mantle piece decor from the "Simple Room Christmas Add-On" stamp set and colored it with Copics.  I fussy cut it out and adhered it to the top of my mantle.

I cut a slit using an Extacto knife underneath the wood mantle to allow for my Santa to drop through.

I designed a pull down tag to pull my Santa down and into the fireplace.  Super each to do!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Milk & Cookies

Happy Saturday one and all!  Today I'm sharing another festive holiday card featuring some of the new stamps just released from Sweet November Stamps!

Today's card features the super sweet mice from the "Milk & Cookies".

My goal with card was to use some fun patterned papers. So I chose to pull my cookies colors from my patterned paper choices.

Here's a little close up...

For the background I wanted a almost twinkling tree feel.  I used my Copic air brush to spread a nice layer of green and then used my Copic Blender pen to make the bokeh in the background.

Chibitronics ~ Birthday Panda

Happy Friday!  I'm Allison Cope and today I'm sharing my latest light up card featuring products from Chibitronics.

Today we're going we are going to light up this little panda's birthday candle plus putting a little pink in her cheeks! Our little card features the Whimsy Stamps "Party Panda".

I began today's card creation by stamping our panda and sentiment on the outside AND the inside of my card. I masked our little black n' white bear and ink blended her background. Once the masks were removed, I colored her up using Copic Markers.

I like to stamp the inside panel so that I can precisely place all of my stickers exactly where I need to light up on the card front.

I began to plan out my circuit on my lightly stamped image. I first planned out the location of my 3 stickers. I used the handy "Craft Stencil" to indicate their location.

Then I located my battery area and added all the lines to complete my circuit. I began the negative side of my circuit inside the "Battery Holder" and then I drew my blue lines out to over lap the pointy ends of my LED Light Stickers. Next I drew out the red lines for the positive sides of my circuit. The positive side begins on the inside lid of the "Battery Holder". The red lines went out to cross over the fatter part of the LED Light Stickers.

I began to begin the circuit by adding my LED Light Stickers. I used one heart-shaped Animating White Fade Sticker for the candle light. I used 2 Pink LED Light Stickers for her cheeks.

I applied my Conductive Fabric Tape to the negative side of the circuit first. This side of the circuit needs to begin on the underside of the battery.

Next I added my Conductive Fabric Tape to the positive side of the circuit. I began adding the Conductive Fabric Tape to the inside lid of my "Battery Holder", wrapping around the lid to the top and down to the circuit base and out to all the fatter ends of each LED Light Stickers.

Once the circuit was complete, I added the C-shaped foam adhesive to the inside of the battery holder, popped in a battery and tested the circuit out.

And here's the final lit up card...

I just love her little lit up pink cheeks! Happy Birthday!

Craft Roulette ~ Sweater Weather

Happy Thursday!  Today's card is this week's last minute entry for Craft Roulette. 

So the four parameters that the wheel spit out this week were:

• Project: Fancy Fold (Z-Fold)
  
• Colors: Aquarium (purple corals/fish)
  
• Element: November (sweater weather)
  
• Random: 3 Item Cluster (sweater/hat/mittens)
  

So this week's card features some Club Sursee products from Catherine Pooler Designs.

These cute snowflakes, sweater, mittens and hat images come from November Sursee bundle. 

I used the "Scallops & Dots Dies" and the cute "Urban Plaid" patterned paper.  I used Serenade and Queen for a Day inks for all my stamping.

The Club Sursee products will be available in the CP shop in the near future.

Sweet November Stamps ~ Cup of Cheer!

Happy Hump Day!  Today I'm sharing a fun and cheery Christmas card featuring some stamps from Sweet November Stamps!

Today's card features the sweet little male elf and Mrs. Claus from the bran new clear stamp set, "Cup of Cheer".

To set the scene after stamping and masking the elf and Mrs. Claus, I stamped the flooring from the "Background Builder: Simple Room" stamp set.

I also added the window with the curtains from the "Simple Room: Christmas Add On" stamp set.

I love the little holly and berry wallpaper!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Sweet Dreams

Happy Saturday all!  The Sweet November Stamps "Sweetest Holiday" release hit the shop last weekend.  And I still have so many cards to share!

Today's card features the new "Cookies for Santa" clear stamp set.  Aren't those 3 little cuties adorable in their oversized comfy chair?

I paired it with some candy stamps from the "Sweet Christmas Fairies" clear stamp from last year.  I wanted it to appear like they were having "sweet dreams" while napping in their chair.

I left the background very simple as to play up the sweet little children.  I just used some Ranger Distress Oxides and a cool brick stencil from Honey Bee Stamps.

StampNation ~ Winter Walrus

Today over at StampNation, I have a brand new weekend challenge.  This week's challenge is create a card with a Winter critter.

So I chose to create a card using this funny little walrus from the "Aw Shucks" stamp set.  I stamped him in Sand Castle ink and colored him up with Copic Markers.  To make him look like he might be wearing a Santa hat, A hand drew in a pom-pom on his head.

The poinsettia and evergreen boughs are from the newest Club Sursee November subscription stamp set.  It will be available for purchase next month.

Sweet November Stamps ~ Friendship Warms the Coldest Season

The Sweet November Stamps "Sweetest Holiday" release is in the shop.

Today's card features the sweet little snowmen from the "Cold Hands, Warm Heart" stamp set. I decided to pair the little bird feeding snowman with the cutie cuddling the kitties.

I popped my colored panel up on some silver foiled snowflake paper from Lawn Fawn.

A very simple card!

Craft Roulette ~ Reindeer Joy to the World

Happy Wednesday!  Today's card is this week's entry for Craft Roulette.  This is also my 50th entry!!!

So the four parameters that the wheel spit out this week were:

• Project: Guest's Choice - A2 card size
• Colors: Forest (green & red colors)
  
• Element: Starts with "H" (Hot cocoa)
  
• Random: Postage stamp/mark (postage die)
  

So this week's card features one of the adorable new reindeer from the Sweet November Stamps "Winter Wishes Reindeer".

I stamped, colored and cut out my little reindeer and placed him on a die cut using the Catherine Pooler "Postage Stamp Dies".  I also cut out this cute plaid pattern from some "Tartan" patterned paper from Craft Consortium.  I backed it with a little bit of vellum.

To finish off the card, I used some Spruce and Eucalyptus inks to stamp some pretty evergreen stamps from the November Club Sursee, also from Catherine Pooler.

To finish off the card, I added a foiled sentiment from the Spellbinders "Merry Little Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set".
