Today we, KKS, are absolutely thrilled to be introducing a brand new artist to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps creative team! Now you already know this name as she's been part of the family for a couple of years now....as a Krafty Design Team member!!!
It's ME!!
YES.... ME!
This stamp set is filled with so many gorgeous buildings, trees, landscapes...all covered in snow! The possibilities are endless for creating your own scenes as the focal point of your creations or to use as backgrounds for other image stamp sets!! It's an unbelievable set!
I began my card by creating a scene featuring the snowy bridge, one of the single snowy trees and the large treeline stamp. I stamped the bridge and single tree in Wicked Black ink and the double treeline with Fresh Fields and Mossy Meadow inks. I coloured everything in Copic Markers.
For my card background, I first used a soft application of our Salty Sea ink through our new "Magical Mosaic Stencil". Then, before removing the stencil, I used some Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone but I made sure to only scrape it randomly through the stencil. It supposed to look a little like snow on a window pane. I like the effect it took on! Plus I also added a piece of vellum to my card window to soften the black ink a bit.
As you hop around the design team's blogs today you'll be able to check out my WINTER SCENERY stamp set in action in combination with a lot of our other new October Kraftin' Kimmie products!
