Catherine Pooler ~ Naughty Kitty!

The Holly Jolly Christmas collection release from Catherine Pooler Designs is only days away!  The whole release is amazing and will available for purchase in the CP Shop on Wednesday at 9am ET.  If you are a StampNation member, one of your perks is being able to purchase collections a day early.  So if you're not a member, you might to check it out!

For today's card, I wanted to make it an interactive card!

I first stamped my little naughty kitty in the tree from the "Naughty List"stamp set in Midnight ink and then colored it all in using Copic Markers. I then cut out my little using the coordinating die set.

Next I cut a piece of the new "Wrapped" 6x6 Patterned paper, the fun plaid, using the "Postage Stamp Die" set and adhered it to my card front.  Then I cut a white cardstock inner layer of the "Postage Stamp Die" set and took a "Scalloped & Dotted Die" set layer and partially cut 3 sides within the center of the first rectangle.  I used my scoring tool to create a score line at the top of the inner cut rectangle and a 1/8" above the bottom of the inner rectangle and then again in the center of the 2 score marks.  This allows the rectangle to full upwards like a mountain.

Next a stamped a greeting  from the "Naughty List" stamp set in All That Jazz ink at the base of a piece of white cardstock wider than the inner rectangle.  I adhered a piece of double sided tape to the underside of the scored rectangle and attached a strip of paper longer than the largest rectangle.  This is the pull up mechanism.

I adhered the panel with the sentiment to the card front making sure it would be peeking through the rectangular hole at the bottom.  I adhered the peek-a-boo rectangle piece to the postage stamp die cut patterned paper.

Then I adhered the tree to ONLY the bottom of the mountain fold.

When you pull the tab at the top of the rectangle up, the tree and the panel pop up and reveal the sentiment!

Stamp Anniething ~ Cheers!

Cheers to you and happy Monday!  Today I'm sharing a fun card featuring the adorable "Victoria, Awesome & Gnome It" from Stamp Anniething today!

Sometimes I like to change up my coloring medium so I get more practice with something less used.  Today's card features Polychromos Pencils.

I stamped out little Gnome Victoria with Versafine Black onyx ink and had a blast coloring her in!

To create my background, I took the "Monstera" stencil and inked it up with both Garden Party and Lime Rickey inks.  I made a point of moving my stencil around the masked out part of my card front panel to achieve a layered look. I drew in a few fine black lines to frame my leafy panel and added a fun "Cheers Word Die"  to finish off the card.

I had so much fun making today's card!  I hope you have an amazing and creative week!
