So I started off with this simple sketch design by Sweet Sketch Sunday #257:

It's officially the first day of April!  Over at Let's Capture Our Memories (LCOM) we are having a WE Love Cards month.  Every Monday, one of our fabulous design team members will post a fun card related challenge for you!

Today's challenge comes from the talented Bev!  Bev's challenge is to create a card using the the letters from the word SPRING.  So for example;

P = patterned papers, purple, pink, punches
R = red, rounded corners, roses, ribbon
I = ink, indigo, inside too!, irises

With Sympathy Sunday

Happy Sunday everyone!  Sadly enough, today I am making sympathy cards.  Yes... it's never a fun task that's for sure but I do hope that the recipients appreciate the time I have taken to make them a personal card.

I chose to use this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch for my card creations.  Click the image below to take you to the original blog post.

Each of my three cards are alike but have some subtle differences.

Double Bow
Yellow Calla Lilies

Single Bow

For my focal image and sentiment, I used the "Calla Lilies" stamp set from Flourishes.  The greeting inside, also from the same stamp set, reads:
May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.

Which one is your favourite?  I think my favourite is the last one.

Supplies:
stamps:  Flourishes (Calla Lilies)
cardstock:  Flourishes Classic White Cardstock, Papertrey Ink, Coredinations
patterned papers:  My Mind's Eye (The Sweetest Thing)
inks:  Memento, Copic, Ranger
doily die: Cheery Lynn Designs
die shape: Spellbinders
twine: Darice
ribbon:  Offray
gems:  Prima
accessories: thread.

Sweet Sunday!

Happy Father's Day Sunday everyone!  My poor husband's sadly working today so it's just my son and I.  He's outside enjoying the sunny weather while I'm enjoying my paper and glue today.

I thought I'd apply for a position on the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge blog.  I love sketches and card making so I'd love to play along every week.

This week's SSC sketch is Sketch 161:

Here is my card using sketch SSC:

Here is the inside of my card...
