Global Adventure: Pt. Deux

The newest Catherine Pooler release has got a theme!  This collection is called Global Adventure Pt. Deux!  This collection has 2 small bundles plus our brand new refreshed inks; Minted, Oh Boy! and Sixteen Candles!

Today's bundle reveal is called the "Adventure in Asia".  

This bundle of Asian inspired products come from a variety of traditions and cultural celebrations.  The rich patterns and florals paired with paper art come together in this bundle's Parasols & Pagodas Patterned Paper, Fan Dance Background Stamp, Lantern Festival Stamps and Dies and Origami Cheers Stamps and Dies.  The Kyoto Sequin Mix brings the added pop of bling and coordinates with the color combo of the paper.  

Today's card features the brand new refreshed inks, Minted, Oh Boy! and Sixteen Candles.  I first created the soft stencilled background using the "Gradient Diamonds Stencil".  I also took a thin strip of the smaller striped paper from the "Black Tie Gala" patterned papers and inked that up to match the inky gradient of the diamonds.

Then I stamped out a couple of our sweet little chatty birdies from the "Flock of Friends" stamp set and created masks to color in their bodies and scarves.  I then used the fun "Call Me" stamp set to create a greeting speech bubble for my sentiment.

Inside my card I used the Sixteen Candles ink and the stencil again to add a little matching touch plus a fun "Flock of Friends" sentiment.  My goal this year is to decorate the insides of my cards more  frequently!
