A Floral Sympathy Card

The other day I received a piece of mail for the previous owner of the house we live in. It was a little white envelope with a Christmas stamp so I knew it was a holiday card.  Knowing the previous resident had passed away in the fall of 2020, instead of just sending it back with a redirect message I thought I'd make a simple sympathy card to let them know their friend had passed away.

Here's the simple, sentiment-less card I made to include with their returned card...

I used the "Beautiful Day Floral" stamp set and matching die.  I used the "Through the Prism" stamp set for the background and I embossed it with Platinum Embossing Powder.  I used Copic Markers and Polychromo Pencils to color in my images.

I added a few "Oak City Sequins" and some gold "Starry Night" Gansai Tambi splatter to add a touch of shine.

It's an unfortunate card that I have to send but I hope it comes as little less shocking to the family.

I hope you all have a wonder holiday season!  Hugs all those you love and hold them close this holiday season.

Crafty hugs,

~ Ally ~
