Every Friday evening at 6:30pm CST Mary invites a crafty guest along to create with her. She has a fun Roulette style wheel with corresponding challenge criteria. Four perimeters are determined by spinning the wheel and then Mary and her guest create using those perimeters.
Tonight, one of my lovely bosses Sandy Boone, owner of Three Room Studio was Mary's guest.
For this challenge, #49, the following perimeters were determined by the wheel:
PROJECT: Fancy Fold Card
COLORS: Any 4 colors
ELEMENT: Floral Cluster
RANDOM: Dry Embossing
Here is the card using those 4 perimeters...
For the Fancy Fold aspect, the lower plaid panel actually swings out to allow the card to be opened.I used the "Yay! Dies" set to dry emboss my greeting for a textured effect instead of using a scoring tool or embossing folder.
I used the "Yay!" stamp set for my greeting, the "Mom's Hibiscus" stamp set for the cluster of flowers and the "Believe in Fairies" stamp set for my little fairy.
I had a blast creating. I'm finding that the challenge is pushing my creativity and use of stuff that maybe I've set aside.
Come and play along using those 4 criteria listed above.
You have to be a member to participate. It's FREE. Visit Mary's Facebook Page HERE!
You can submit your entry HERE. You have 48 hours from the time the challenge begins to submit your creation.
Happy creating!

For my first card, I die cut the awesome "Chevron Slimline Die" and used it as a stencil! I masked off each piece and ink blended through the holes of the die cut. Then I sprinkled a little water for a distressed look. I used the fun "Hello Amazing" stamp set and coordinating die to add my greeting.
Next, I pulled some of the vibrant and happy patterned papers from the "Preppy Prints 6x6 Papers" and the "Preppy Pineapples" stamp set and had a ball creating this fun and easy shaker card. I used the gorgeous "Williamsburg" and "Loveladies" sequins inside.
And who doesn't love a great rainbow card! I had a blast making this one plus I used the sparkly "Halo WOW Embossing Powder" on this one too!
I hope you have a great Monday!

For my card used the adorable fairy and dragon fly from the "Believe in Fairies" stamp set. I cut them out using their coordinating dies found here. Plus I also used the lily pad and the bog grasses from the "It's a Ponderful Life" stamp set and I cut out the lilypad using it's coordinating die found here. You have to LOVE coordinating dies!!!Today I'm sharing two more fun bullet journaling spreads for March featuring the amazing Club Canvo subscription goodies from Catherine Pooler Designs.
This month's theme is blooms and butterflies! So pretty and fun to color!
For week 3 of March, I used the "Weekly One Stencil", "Days Many Ways" stamp set and "January Notes" stamp sets in addition to the subscription stamp sets. The stencil helped me lay down the fun long rectangles and the additional stamp sets helped me date and label my days.
Don't those butterflies look like Monarch butterflies?
Plus, for week 4 of the month, I used some fun ink colors to add some vibrancy! I used Chiffon, It's a Boy, Flirty Fuchsia, Something Borrowed and Suede Shoes.
PLUS... did you know Catherine is releasing a coordinating die to go along with the "Just Soar" stamp set for your card making too? YUP! It will be in the CP Shop soon!
What do you think of all these fun spreads?? It's so fun to create them!
I hope you have a great day!

I pulled out the fun "I Heart Books" stamp set and stamped out the woman in the chair and her large shelving unit and filled it all up with books and fun stuff!
For the sentiment banner, I stamped out the banner part of the "Skate. Sleep. Repeat." stamp set and then stamped in the greeting form the "Simple Sentiments" stamp set. I even hid a few presents along side her chair!
