Lovely Lilacs

Howdy all!  It’s been a busy week here in this household.  Last weekend it was “crazy clean the house weekend” because my Mom was coming to visit on Tuesday morning from Ontario.  We always make a point of her coming out to Alberta to visit us and I always go home to Ontario at least once a year to see her.

I didn’t have time to actually sit down and create a card for today until yesterday.  And since my Mom’s here still, I invited her to create along with me today as she’s just starting to learn how to use her Copic Markers.

Both our cards today feature the stunning Power PoppyFrench Liliac” digital image.

So here is the card MY MOM, Mary, created…
My Mom used some Spring greens on her Lilacs and airbrushed her back ground.

And then here’s the card I created…

I used the “French Liliac” stamp set but also the “Potted Primroses” stamp set for my sentiment.

Here’s a little close up…

Your mom's card is so beautiful Ally, love the air brushed background, the dies she used really frame her work of art perfectly.
Your card is also beautiful, this image is so amazing and it really lends itself to be colored in lots of ways. The little Lady Bug is one beautiful detail Marcella added to this already beautiful image, making her bright red really makes her shine.
Thank you so much for sharing.

Good heavens, your mom is so good with her Copics already! Love how she used the green and then did the beautiful shading and framing. And, of course, your own card is a stunner as always. Gorgeous to the 'nth degree!
