An Antique Bouquet of Roses

Hi all!  Welcome to another fabulous Friday challenge over at Power Poppy!

Once again, we’re asking you to share your Power Poppy creations with the Bloom Brigade.  There is no specific challenge for this week but we do ask that you use one of our fabulous images and share your creation, including a link to this challenge, on your creation.  Simple as that!

For my card today, I thought I’d do a little experimenting.  I coloured my large bouquet from our newly released digital stamp set, “Arranging Roses” using a variety of Copic Marker colours and then I set my panel up for a little distressing.

I distressed the edges using my paper distresser, then I inked the edges with some dark blue, pumice and black Ranger Distress Inks.

Here’s a close up of my coloured image…

Have a gander at what the rest of the Bloom Brigaders have done with these amazing Power Poppy images…

Juicy and SO SUMMERY!! Totally cool how you multiplied the sentiment to form the background pattern... brilliant! Love the "tag" ribbons that coordinate with the funky roses, too!

So pretty, the papers are bold and fun! I like the sentiment shadowed along the edge, wonderful job.

You are incredible, always! Not only is your image panel drop dead gorgeous the way you've colored and distressed, but I love those colorful flags along the edges. Super inspiration!

Ally wow...this is so petty. I love the soft yellow glow behind your vase and the way you added the sentiment is perfect. What a great card.
