Power Poppy: Lovin' Some Tulips!

Happy Friday everyone!  I’m here with another fun but fairly simple card to share using some fun Power Poppy products today.

I chose to use the fun Loving Tulips stamp set today and it’s coordinating die set.

I chose to use our Power & Spark Challenge for the month of May, to frame up your card, as inspiration.  So I created this whimsical circular platform to frame up my card.

To find out more about this month’s challenge and how YOU can win a $50 shopping spree, click here. I can’t wait to see what you create!

Now check out what my fellow Bloomies have created for you to check out today showcasing our fabulous stamp sets…

Thanks again for joining me today!  I hope all of my friends in the USA have a great long weekend.

Congrats Bouquet

On Friday I was playing around with all my new inks from Catherine Pooler Designs. Catherine’s inks are so easy to use and the new colors fit perfectly within the original palette of 13 ink colors.

Today I’m playing with a few stamps from the Stamp of Approval collections, “The Perfect Reason” and the “Candy Cane Lane”.

I used the “Perfect Reason”, “Paisley Peacock”, “You Did It!” and the “Peppermint Stick BG” stamp sets.  I also used the following Catherine Pooler Inks: Melon Ice, Garden Party, Lime Rickey, It’s a Boy, It’s a Girl, Sweet Sixteen, Pixie Dust, Flirty Fuchsia, Party Dress.

I'm entering the card in the hopes of winning a new Stamp of Approval box.  My entry is #52.  You can VOTE HERE.  Just click the heart in the corner of your top 3 picks!

I hope you too are having fun this long weekend!

TGIF Tulips!

Good day all!  It’s Friday and time to start a long weekend here in Canada!  I know I’m certainly looking forward to having a lazy 4 days to myself as my guys are off to San Francisco today.

So to begin the weekend, let pick some Tulips… some Power Poppy tulips from the “Dynamic Duos: Peonies & Tulips” clear stamp set!

For my card I actually used my Ranger Distress Oxides to create my back ground and also colour up my gold embossed tulip image too!  They work like a dream to paint up images!

Here’s a little close up of the sparkle of the gold embossing plus the cool effect of the painted tulips.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes and check out my fellow Bloomies have created to share with you!  PLUS… Marcella has a special surprise SALE going on.    You can check out all those details on the Power Poppy Blog!

Hey everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

I’m over at Splitcoaststampers today playing along with the rest of my fellow Card Sketch Team using this month’s sketch.  It’s a fun one this week.  You check it out here, SC645, a sketch designed by Carey.

Here's my card using the sketch.  I chose to feature some fun products from Honey Bee Stamps today.

Here's a close up of the card.  All my bees have sparkly wings...
Plus the little chickie above is on a mini Action Wobble and jiggles!  Awwww!

I wanted to complete the inside of my card too...
I just LOVE all the fun coordinating stamps and dies that Honey Bee Stamps sells!

Thanks for buzzin' by!
