I Got Some Mojo Today!

I was just itching to use some new patterned papers that I purchased a few days ago so I grabbed this week's Mojo Monday sketch and went to work!

Here is the card I created using this week's sketch...

Merry & Bright

For my card I started out with one of the fabulous new stamp sets from Flourishes, "Poinsettia & Pine".  I chose to use my machine and used the corresponding NEW "Poinsettia & Pine SVG Cut File" and some glorious Flourishes Classic White Cardstock.  To finish off my card I used the Authentique "Peacefiul" 6x6 paper collection - I'm just drooling over this stuff!

Here's a close up of my stamped image.  I coloured it with some subtle Copics and then added some Glossy Accents to the berries.

Come on out and check out all the amazing cards using this sketch!  Wow!

Timeless Tuesday - Think PINK!

Howdy all!  It's a special Timeless Tuesday challenge over at Flourishes today!  It's a THINK PINK day!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so the Timeless Tuesday Challenge girls have teamed up with CopicOz this week to celebrate women!!!

The BEST thing is that, for each entry posted on the CopicOz blog, $5 will be donated to Women's Cancer Research! We would REALLY like love it if we could get as many people playing along as possible to support this cause. All you have to do is make a PINK THEMED card using your COPICS and link it to the Mr Linky on the CopicOz Blog. Don't forget to link it up on the Flourishes blog too!  The challenge will continue until 31st October on the CopicOz blog.

And here is the card I created for this week's THINK PINK challenge (FTTC189)!

Pink Poises

This week I used a variety of fun stamps to create my card.  For my focal image I started by stamping the large bouquet from the "Summer Blossoms" on to Flourishes Classic White Cardstock using Memento "Rich Cocoa" ink.

To create the pink back ground behind the lattice and also the strip of pink paper across my card, I used the stamps, "I Love Roses" and the "Sweet Nature" stamp sets to create a subtle tone on tone back ground.

To add some shine, I added some Glossy Accents to my flower centers as seen below...

For my focal image, I used a variety of fun Copic colours...

Here are the Flourishes Copic Collections which I used...

Take a peek at what my fellow Timeless Tuesday designers have created for today…
You can find all the challenge details at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge FTTC189.
