I Love BasicGrey! & Random Chaos

This weekend I was busy with the weScrap NSD crop and the myStamp BOX blog hop but I also had time to play. And play I did!

First I made this page for my Random Chaos challenge this week. For this challenge, we had to use stripes, at least 3 photos and use some kind od owl or bird on our page.

This is my page using BasicGrey's new line "Wisteria":

Night Owl
Scraplifted from Lady Grace Belarmino's page "Ponder".

Here's a close up of my little owl stamped image by Inkadinkado and some of my paper rolls.

The second page I completed was using BasicGrey's line "Lime Rickey". This line rocks!

The third page I created is actually posted just below this,; called "Mommy... I Said Cheeze".

So with creating mostly with BasicGrey products, I submitted all of them to BasicGrey to their gallery and they were ALL picked up yesterday morning! I'm exstatic! BasicGrey rocks!

Random Chaos [52]

This week's challenge over at Random Chaos was to create a page with 6 or more photos!

This was truly a challenge for me! Generally I use anywhere from 1 to 3, many 4 photos but hardly ever 6... Especially on a single page so this challenge was perfect for me!

Under the Weather

My journaling.....

supplies: patterned paper, stickers: BasicGrey; gems: Hero Arts; pen: Sharpie; other: thread.

I was also very lucky to have BasicGrey pick this page up for their product gallery! Cool huh?

Random Chaos [48]

I have been playing with all my NEW My Mind's Eye papers lately and created this page for this week's Random Chaos challenge [48].

This week's challenge was to create a page using the colours green, orange and yellow.

I had originally planned to put another large photo on the page but it just didn't quite fit the way I wanted so, I created this flap to put it under along with my journaling. A quick and easy way to hide a photo that doesn't quite go! LOL!

In order to keep the flap closed, I designed my title as a closure. I stamped my title using the "Lots of Dots" alphabets by my Stamp BOX, hand cut them out all together in one slip and then added some foam dots at the bottom of each letter to allow for the flap to tuck underneath.

Perfect closure and cheap to do!

supplies: stamps: my Stamp BOX (Lots of Dots - alphabets); cardstock: Bazzill, Prism; patterned papers, die cuts: My Mind's Eye; ribbon: Crate Paper; flowers: Prima; letters, brads, pin: Making Memories; ink: ColorBox; pen: Sharpie; buttons: Autumn Leaves; other: thread.
