Today is the day and I am SO excited to finally share this bright and happy card featuring all of the brand new Party Colors of Catherine Pooler Designs Colored Cardstock! 🎉💖

If you love color as much as I do, this release is going to make your crafty heart very happy. Catherine Pooler Designs is officially kicking off a Year of Color, and it starts with this incredible lineup of 34 gorgeous cardstock colors inspired by the Party, Spa, and Neutral ink palettes.

For today’s card, I challenged myself to use every single Party color—and wow, what a rainbow moment! 🌈

Simple Design, Big Impact

To create this card, I kept the design intentionally clean and graphic so the cardstock colors could really shine.

I used the brand new Simple Strip Die to quickly cut perfectly sized strips of cardstock. This die makes it so easy to create modern backgrounds without all the measuring and trimming—just run it through your die-cut machine and you’re good to go!

I adhered the strips at a slight angle for extra visual interest, alternating all of the Party colors to create a bold, woven-style background.

For the sentiment, I added a crisp white “thanks” die cut from the new Scripted Sentiment Dies. I love how the soft script contrasts against the bright, playful background while keeping the card versatile for so many occasions.

That’s it—no extra layers, no fuss. Just color, texture, and a whole lot of happy. 💕
