For today's card I used Catherine Pooler Designs stamp set, "Coffee Shop".
I began by stamping the long coffee sentiment background with some white pigment ink. I made sure that my stamping wasn't perfect. I also took a sponge dauber and inked up the edges of the panel to appear chalky.
Next I die cut a Spellbinders label shape and stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the shape in white pigment ink. The sentiment is from the Catherine Pooler "Fall Calls for Lattes" stamp set.
Then I stamped the coffee cup and the coffee cup lid both from the "Coffee Shop" stamp set and also some oak leaves in white pigment ink. I dried the pigment ink with my heat gun and proceeded to color over top of the ink with my Polychromos Pencils.
I adhered all of my elements to the top of my label shape and put everything on a card base.

I love everything about this yummy card! The chalk look is a fave for me. And I love how you inked in white and then colored with pencils. I have to try that!!
Perfect blackboard look! Very authentic coffee shop themed idea.
Such a cool blackboard effect on your card! And the leaves are such a pretty fall embellishment!

My local coffee shop has a chalkboard with art on it, and cool writing. This is such a great idea for a card. I LOVE it.
