Catherine Pooler Designs: Zen Garden

Howdy all!  Welcome to the Catherine Pooler Designs Zen Garden release!  This release contains not only 8 new amazing ink colors but a variety of detailed, beautiful stamps, stencils and dies!

In addition to the 8 new ink colors from the CP Spa Collection called the Zen Garden Inks, today we’re featuring the amazing stamp, Doodle Garden Background and also the Eat, Sleep, Create stamp set.

Eat, Sleep, Create!

1. I inked up the outside of my Doodle Garden Background stamp using “Stone Blue” ink; using an ink dauber to remove some of the ink towards the center of the stamp.  Cleaned my stamp.
2.  I inked up the inner circle of the Doodle Garden BG stamp using “Rose Petals” ink ensuring there was no ink on the outer edge or the inside of the image.  I again used a ink dauber to remove some of the ink around the edges to make it more subtle and allow it to layer and blend with the blue ink.
3. I stamped the sentiment from the “Eat, Sleep, Create” stamp set in “Stone Blue” ink and added “Rose Petals” hearts to the large “A’s”.
4. I inked up the thin paint swipe stamp from the “Eat, Sleep, Create” stamp using both Rose Petals & Stone Blue inks, allowing them to blend and then added the dotted stamp using just Rose Petals ink.

All of my cards today have been creating using the Catherine Pooler Premium White Cardstock.  I highly recommend using this cardstock with your CP inks… it inks up like a dream!
