Craft Roulette ~ Waves of Happiness

Happy Friday! Today's card creation is for the fabulous Craft Roulette show - today's episode!  There's still time to play!

So the four parameters that the wheel spit out this week were:

So for this week's contribution, I began with stamping 3 images from the Sweet November Stamps "Mermees Set #2" stamp set.  I'm using the parameter "May" as in we celebrate "MerMay" in May.

I used 3 tag dies to cut out the 3 windows for my shaker card and I used all kinds of colors you might find in a rose garden.  I used some masking to Copic Marker air brush all of my background.

Here's my card...

Inside of my shaker card, I used some microbeads in silver and also some small clear sequins.

Craft Roulette ~ Ahoy Mate!

So the four parameters that the wheel spit out this week were:

So for this week's contribution, I began with an adorable little pirate and his parrot from the My Favorite Things stamp set called "Party Like a Pirate".  This captures the "bird" parameter.

For the "woodgrain" parameter, I cut the grass line from some woodgrain patterned paper.

The matchbook card is pretty self explanatory, I think.  For the color parameter, "flowering field", I assumed you can have a very colorful field of just about any color of flower so all the colors of the rainbow could possibly apply!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Mermaid Cyan

Happy Tuesday!

I have another mer-tastic card to share with you in celebration of MerMay.

Today's card features the beautiful "Cyan" mermaid, part of the new Sea Queens from Sweet November Stamps.

I began by printing out the beautiful cyan mermaid and I colored her up with lots of fun Copic Markers.  I will be sharing a step-by-step video of how I colored up the entire image on my YouTube channel soon.

I fussy cut out the entire image and then popped her up on a gold matted piece of blue patterned paper from the Craft Consortium "Over the Rainbow" paper pad.

To finish off the card, I added a gold embossed sentiment from the "Mermees Set #2" clear stamp set.

I always love all the beautiful detail that Sweet November Stamps put into their images.
