Happy weekend all!  Today I'm sharing my final Halloween card featuring one of the new clear stamp sets from Sweet November Stamps

I made sure to coloring in the leaves and bushes in a fall color scheme to set the autumn feel to the card.

We've just added a whole group of brand new Halloween themed cookies too so make sure to check them out; here!

Hope you have a great long weekend!

Chibitronics ~ The Witch's Lair

Happy Thursday!   Today I'm sharing my latest Chibitronics creation that I've made this week.

Today's card features some fun Halloween stamp sets from Sweet November Stamps and their latest Ghoulish Greetings release.  Meet "SN Gal Dedemona", our witch.  Other SNS stamps I also used today include the cauldron & window from "Halloween Room Add-Ons", the crystal ball & candles from "Sorsha's Spell Room", the table from "Meet Cute", and the cat from the "Background Builder: Spook Tree" stamp sets.

I started today's card by stamping copies of my scene. I used the full and black inked copy on my card front and a copy of the scene I used on the inside guts of my card to map out my circuit onto.  I also stamped a copy of Desdemona on some black cardstock and fussy cut her out.  I applied her to the backside of the image behind her image on the card front. This block out the light and won't project through her image.

I located my battery location underneath the kitty images on my card front.  Then I used my Craft Stencil and added the 5 locations of the light stickers I wanted to use; one on candle flame and a couple on the cauldron glow and one under her crystal ball.  Next I mapped out the pathways of the negative (blue lines) and positive (red lines) of my circuit using pen.

Next I  applied my Battery Holder into his place on my circuit. It has a peel and stick backer. Then I laid down the Conductive Fabric Tape for the negative side of my circuit.  I began on the bottom side of the self adhesive Battery Holder.

Next I laid down the positive side of the circuit tape.  I began on the inside of the lid of the Battery Holder.  This allows the lid of the Battery Holder to be pressed to close the circuit and allow the lights to come on - otherwise known as the switch.

Lastly, to complete the circuit, I added my five LED Light Stickers, I used 3 Green LEDs, and 2 gem shaped Animating White Blink LED Light Stickers.

I used the green stickers from the Pink/Green/Orange MegaPack, and the White Blink stickers from the Animating White Blink LED Lights Pack (comes in 24 or 6 pack).

I adhered the double sided self-adhering "C" shaped foam inside the Battery Holder and popped in a 3V Coin Battery.

To allow for the bulkiness of the Battery Holder, I applied 3D foam around the perimeter of the circuit panel so the card front closes on the same level as the whole card.

Let's give it test... and REMEMBER... the white light BLINKS of the candles blinks on and off!  To complete the switch, all you have to do is press the kitty.  I usually just leave a message for my card receipt on the inside as to how you turn the lights on.

And that's it!  A super fun and spooky card for someone special!

Sweet November Stamps ~ He's One Handsome Guy

Happy Monday!  Today I'm sharing another fun new Halloween card featuring one of the new clear stamp sets from Sweet November Stamps released just a few weeks ago.

Today's card features the "SN Guy Baron".  He's a handsome Hallow' guy!

I started my card by stamping the suave guy first.  I created a mask for his feet.  Then I stamped the flooring from the "Background Builder: Halloween Room" and the windows from the "Halloween Room Add On" stamp set. I stamped the 2 bats from the "SN Guy Baron" in the windows too.

To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment from the "Background Builder: Halloween Room"stamp set and embossed it with glittery deep orange embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Halloween Cookies Are Here!

Happy weekend all!  Today I'm sharing another fun new Halloween card featuring one of the new digital stamp sets from Sweet November Stamps.  We've just added a whole group of brand new Halloween themed cookies!

Today's card features the adorable cookies from the "Halloween Cookies: Sets 4 & 5".  These 2 cookie sets includes a cat, a jar full of eye of newt, a spider, a werewolf, a Frankenstein's monster, a moon and pumpkin jar.

I used the clear PNG file, "Layering Pumpkin Jar" and added my cookies inside.

As you can see, I fussy cut my jar out to make a shaped card.

Everything is colored up with Copic Markers.

I think my favorite part of this card is the Frankenstein monster eyes and brains!  So fun to color!

Craft Roulette ~ Hap-BEE Birthday!

Happy Thursday all!  Today's card was created for this week's Craft Roulette episode.  This is my 81st submission.

The four parameters that the wheel gave us this week were:

  • Project: Card with squares (I used patterned paper with squares)
  • Colors: Bee Garden Colors (I was inspired by a woodsy scene)
  • Element: Monday (Monday = "moon" day.)
  • Random: Use a Marker(s) (colored with Copic Markers!)

So this week's card features one of the adorable bees from the "The Bees" digital stamp set from Sweet November Stamps.  I also included the greet tree from "Cozy Fall Critters: Tree House".

To achieve the look of grass, I used some Copic Blender Solution and a textured piece of cloth to apply to the already colored grass.

For the sky, I masked off my bee and tree and a circle for the moon.  Then I blended some Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink around the moon first.  Then I used Blueprint Sketch Oxide for the remainder of the sky.

For the final touch, I used some square patterned paper from the "Black Tie Gala" pack from Catherine Pooler Designs.

I hope you check out Craft Roulette!  We watch and play every Friday.  Join us over on the YouTube channel at 6:10pm CST.

See you there!

I started by stamping my witchy pumpkin pile first.  I cut a rounded hill edge and colored everything in with Copics.  I also heat embossed my sentiment on the bottom with White Embossing Powder.

Next I stamped the twisted sign on my card base and drew in some leaf bushes and a soft purpley sky.

I added the witch panel on top of the card base with some foam adhesive.

Sweet November Stamps ~ Hang in There!

Happy Saturday all!  Today I'm sharing another Halloween card featuring the brand new Ghoulish Greetings clear stamp sets from Sweet November Stamps.

My card today features the adorable little spider stamp set called "Hang in There".

I started by stamping and layering all of little spider guys.  I masked them all off next.

Then I ink blending a blue to purple background using Ranger Distress Oxide inks.  Then I wet down some cheese cloth and laid it over the background to activate my inks.

I peeled off all my masks and colored in my little critters with Copic Markers.

I decided to give each spider a little bit of different hair style... LOL!

To finish off the card I stamped the greeting from the same stamp set and added it as a long tag to the card.

Super cute!  Thanks for stopping by!

Craft Roulette ~ Let's Spook Up Some Fun!

Happy Thursday all!  Today I'm combining two ideas for one project!

Today's card was initially created for this week's Craft Roulette episode.  This is my 80th submission.

The four parameters that the wheel gave us this week were:

  • Project: 4"x8" (My card is a monster!)
  • Colors: Mountain Colors (I was inspired by the Rainbow Mountains in Peru.)
  • Element: Float(s) or Floating (The bubbles are floating in the cauldron.)
  • Random: Water (obvious!)

So this week's card features the adorable "Sorsha's Spell Room" stamp set from Sweet November Stamps.

I started by stamping and masking off my cauldron, kitty and Sorsha the witch from the "Sorsha's Spell Room".  I applied my "Salvaged Brick Stencil" from Honey Bee Stamps and used my air brush system for my Copics and applied a layered color effect.

I used some witch hat patterned paper from the Catherine Pooler Designs "Sweet-n-Spooky" patterned paper pack.

To finish off the card I added a sentiment from the "Halloween Neighborhood" stamp set.
