my Stamp BOX & Halloween!

Yesterday was my son's party day at pre-school. In addition to making the ugliest looking cupcakes (I am NOT a baker!) I made a basket full of special treat bags for all his classmates.

For each bag, I cut out a Spellbinder's label shape using my My Mind's Eye "The Spider's Web" paper and folded it in half the long way. I folded the top of each treat filled bag and the stapled the label over the top of the rolled up bag.

Then I added a stamped Halloween image on scalloped circles from the myStamp BOX set "BOO!" to cover the staple.

I also stamped out a Happy Halloween greeting on kraft cardstock and punched them using the same scalloped circle punch and then hung them from the label. I wrote my son name on the back of each tag.

So simple!

The Scrapping Bug - October Reveal

For October at The Scrapping Bug we got a super spooky scrapbook kit to work with this month.

Here are the 3 pages I made using the kit this month:

Countdown to Fright Night

This is a little calendar to countdown the days until Hallowe'en. I think I'm going to send it to Spencer's school for the teachers to use. Each round circle on the calendar comes off. I was orginally going to make them all magnets but I didn't have enough magnetic paper left.

Getting Ready

This is my Dad helping Spencer on with his costume 2 Hallowe'ens ago. I love these photos of the two of them together. They have a special bond with each other. I made the 2 little pumpkins but tracing a colouring book image I got off of the internet and then just cut out each section of the pumpkin from a different patterned paper.

A Spooktacular Hallowe'en

With each Bug kit you always get an assortment of fun and interesting die cut images. This month, the kit includes this fabulous title. I just made a very simple page for my last creation.

And finally, here's my card. As soon as I saw the haunted house die cut I knew I was going to create a card with multiple levels and so this is my end result.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Page in Time - October Reveal [part 1]

Here's part one of the October APIT kit, Little Yellow Bicycle's "Autumn Bliss".

We always create one 2 page layout and then use our scraps to create another project or two to showcase.

Here's my 2 page layout...

Homecoming

Here's a close up each page....

And here's the card I created using the scraps from my layout:

Grateful

Hope you enjoyed your A Page in Time tour. Part two is coming soon! If you'd like to purchase this kit, you better get it quick! It's going fast! Thanks for stopping by.
